“This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. “Just visited for the first time since the new landladies took over, what a difference! Lovely atmosphere, fabulously friendly staff at the bar and the food was amazing. Mixed grill cooked perfectly for him, pie week special of the best cheese and onion pie for me. Both meals piping hot, freshly cooked, and the chips were perfect. “Took a visit to this place last night with the girlfriend and 2 kids my kids was slightly noisy but can’t be helped and one left a mess sorry again the food was absolutely incredible and great for the value of money I’d definitely return here as I loved it and the window seat was great for my little lad who’s obsessed with cars and trucks he loved it thankyou”

“We had a very comfortable, well equipped room with ample Tea and coffee and biscuits available. Large TV with an excellent bathroom and walk in shower. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very friendly and very helpful Andrea on reception was welcoming and efficient. The hotel is in a very peaceful, tranquil location it is a very old, listed building with character. Thank you to Scott the General Manager who gave us a tour of the night club which is undergoing a major refurb and uplift. A fantastic, atmospheric, period venue perfect for any occasion. We will definitely be returning when the hotel upgrades are completed in the summer.”
