The Yvonne Long School of Dance
Orr Theatre Dance Centre & Agency
Chorlton Performing Arts School
“My 6yo daughter absolutely loves Molly’s classes. She’s learnt dances, poems and has a lot of fun with the games they play. She attended a drama class before, but most definitely prefers Molly’s sessions. Really interactive and has really helped her move and express herself.”
First Act Arts Ltd
“My daughter has been attending the juniors class for a year and absolutely adores it. She has grown in confidence indeed her class teacher mentioned it at parents evening. The tutors are fabulous . I can thoroughly recommend First Act”
Cloud Aerial Arts
“Sensational! Being 38 (but feeling much older) I was a little worried heading down to my beginners gymnastics class... but didn't need to be. Kit the instructor was fantastic. He look the class forward with multiple different ability levels meaning you could push yourself forward if you wanted. By the end of the light I was landing forward somersaults and feeling rather chuffed with myself. The atmosphere was fun with everyone having a laugh and a good time. I'll be seeing you again very soon! Matt”
ATDance
“Adult ballet classes are so much fun and a great way to keep fit and flexible. I wake excited to go to the Friday morning class and feel reenergised afterwards. Having like-minded adults to exercise with is really encouraging and has kept my attendance for over 9 years.”
The Edge Theatre & Arts Centre
“Lovely theatre, friendly staff and a welcoming bar/cafe. We'll be back!”
N K Theatre Arts
“Last night's show was well presented it involved children of all ages and abilities who all displayed confidents.”
North West Theatre Arts Company CIC (NWTAC)
“I enjoyed Romeo and Juliet last night. All actors were a pleasure to watch. It had a really nice twist including the two local football teams. The actors played their rolls very convincingly. The stage, props and costumes were very simple but effect. It began with audience participation. There was a part were the actor faked kicking a football at the audience, that was hilarious. To all well done!”
The Nicholson Academy Of Performing Arts
“My granddaughters love this place and have learnt a lot. Great place for kids to dance and have fun. I was lucky to see them perform.”
Wigan Little Theatre
“Annual member and a brilliant day out to look forward to. Plus the bar is well equipped with ice creams and booze. Always a good time.”
The Grange Theatre
“Great theatre. Comfy seats, helpful staff and delicious snacks at the intermission. The Cinderella pantomime was brilliant too!”
School of Electronic Music
“I joined SEM on a whim towards the end of 2019 studying music production & composition with zero knowledge nor experience. I started 2021 feeling equipped and skilled enough to write and produce my first album :) This is a really special school that has been a game-changer for me. The facilities are quality and the staff are a bunch of passionate and talented souls who go that extra mile when it comes to nurturing/developing their students. I wasted no time in jumping on the business module course when i had the chance which has been massively helpful in preparing my campaign. It's always a treat to study around like-minded musicians, so it's very easy to fit in and make a home out of the place. I couldn't recommend it enough and i'll be back when i have some spare cash! A.”
Freedom Dancers
“My daughter really loves being a part of this dance school. It has a real community feel to it in that everyone is part of the Freedom Family, and Laura-Jayne is excellent at keeping the students engaged. I attended a (socially distanced) adult class when lockdown restrictions were first lifted and was really impressed by Laura-Jayne's teaching style - she's a very talented teacher (and I'm about as uncoordinated as they come).”
Bates Stage Academy
“I started at Bates as soon as a turned 3 and I can’t recommend the dance school enough. Bates became a second home to me, like it does all the girls and the teachers can’t do enough for you. The quality of the dance shows every year are amazing and the opportunities Miss Julie provides for all the children are amazing. Bates won’t only provide you with amazing dance lessons but friends who become family too.”
St John (Ellesmere) Community Centre
“This is a brilliant venue with lots of rooms. Excellent facilities, all extremely clean and tidy. A great place to learn a new skill.”
Ukrainian Social Club
“Great atmosphere at the Uky club tonight. Pity we didn't win.”
Lux Lounge
“The best shisha bar in Manchester hand down! Fantastic people, great atmosphere, good music and good food!! You can’t ask for much more tbh. The staff were so friendly even though it was so busy. Would highly recommend if your after a great night!!”
The Petersgate Tap
“Great place to enjoy a quality beer close to the market. Interesting cask/keg/cider selection: they even had barley wine when I was there. There could well be a bottle shop upstairs full of Belgian rarities. Went today, it's still fabbo”
Waterside
“Bloody wonderful exhibition! Small, but really interesting and great to see stop motion puppets up close. Gallery was clean and staff were friendly and helpful.”
Heald Green Village Hall
“Had first Covid 1 9 vaccine there on Thursday 4 th February at age 7 3 . Oxford vaccine administered there in excellent time by a most cheerful and professional nurse called Clare . I thought that the whole experience was a marvelous showcase for what our National Health Service can do so caringly and efficiently when it's asked to do so in the interests of the whole United Kingdom .”
