Co-op Food - Salford - Chapel Street
“Very convenient and handy little store. Nice staff and even a friendly security guard. A little bit more expensive than some supermarkets. But you pay for the quality and local convenience i guess. Handy for people who live on Chaple Street”
Community Grocery Salford
“Great place to go if you need some extra food and your money to go further. £5 to join then £3 a shop. They have all the good brands i got pure maple syrup, butternut squash, oats, chocolate, vegan sausage, spagetti, marmite, bread, aubergines, italian snacks plus more. Friendly and nice lay out. Can recommend.”
SPAR Poets Corner Salford
“I went in for fags and buckfast. The fine wee lass on the counter didn't ask for i.d... coz im proper old now!! I was hoping for a brown bag to wrap my bucky in. But instead got ripped off for a 5p bag. 5 bastard pence. No wonder homelessness is on the rise. On a positive note ive drank all the bucky and im going back for another bottle!!!”
Co-op Food - Salford - Clippers Quay
“After reading all the reviews...I had a fantastic service and the management are helpful and happy. I have to say the manager is a very happy person. Thank you for your service.”

Halperns Kosher Supermarket
“Halperns has amazing customer service! I was helped by the floor manager Yidi to find everything I needed. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you”
Lidl
“I liked this new store, it was well stocked and plenty of checkouts open. A different layout to other lidls but that is not a bad thing.”
Sainsbury's Local
“I was looking for plasters as my new shoes had caused a big blister on my foot and I was in agony! None were in stock, but a lovely assistant called Sinead took the trouble to get me some plasters from first aid. Kindness is rare and her small act was lovely! Thanks Sinead. You're a star.”
M&S Foodhall
“Nice little store squeezing lots of lovely bits and pieces in, also has a fresh bakery. Was a bit useless in the veggie/vegan front prior to Christmas but it's got loads of new items now, so as long as it's a permanent change and not just for January, I'll be going more often from now on. It's always clean and tidy with staff working hard. There's been a few occasions where I've had queries or needed assistance and the staff have been extremely helpful and approachable. I'm still missing my Little Waitrose, but happy to have found somewhere else nice to shop (eventually). It's a pleasant shopping experience; would prefer more manned checkouts though, can't abide self-service tills.”
Home Bargains
“Shelves always neat, well stocked and good prices. Always find something to buy. Friendly staff and good till service.”
ALDI
“Prices seem to be going up much the same as other stores. Pallets of goods just left unattended on the shop floor and staff reluctant to move if they are filling shelves.”
Tesco Express
“Great selection of fresh and chilled products. Clean and friendly and well laid out. Plus tends to not get too busy as it's located just off the main road. Also has a free ATM outside which lots of people miss and end up queuing at a busier one round the corner.”
Heron Foods
“It's good to shop and prices are good but nobody to help bag shopping, so it's pretty much rush as next customers shopping is being put through.”
Patsons Supermarkets
“Handy shop. It's always open; like when you need something you've forgotten at the supermarket. Sells fresh fruit & veg, alcohol, store cupboard essentials, sweets and crisps. A huge advantage is the fact that you can have your Amazon orders sent here via Click & Collect. I've used this service lots of times and never had a problem. No more waiting for deliveries and the long opening hours take the guess work out of receiving your order. Amazon email you when the item is available to collect. Staff have a.lways been friendly and helpful.”
Sainsbury's Local
“This is a fairly typical Sainsbury's local store... So a meaningful review is difficult. The choice has everything that you would expect, the staff were busy but not in the way. They had everything stocked and everything we needed was available. Location is good and it is a new store the everything is clean and in good condition.”
Poundland
“New POUNDLAND store! Happy! However, the location is wrong but not too far from Sainsbury. It's just next to Home Bargin.”
Asda Higher Broughton Supermarket
“I order all the time, delivery is on time. There are rarely delays in ordering. A good selection of products, a sufficient assortment. Friendly service from the staff when I visit the place.”
Tesco Express
“Right. Here we go. The review you've all been waiting for. What you wanna do is get yourself; 1. The breakfast triple sandwhixh 2. Can of monster 3. Balsamic vinega + seasalt kettle crisps. £3. Sorted. Some research suggests that you're getting a bigger saving by getting the innocent smoothie, but if you do that, the only thing you're saving is yourself - from growing some balls. Innocent smoothies are for people who can't handle the eye contact from when you get "Age Checked" for your monster, circa Jamie Oliver. Now you can get yourself a healthier option, but what are you, a cop or something? The best store if you know what you are doing, but I have seen someone get a prawn sandwhich with a soreen as the snack so perhaps training is needed before you're allowed to buy a meal deal”
Zabka Manchester
“Nice place to go for shopping, cheaper then other places and fresh products.”
