"Love Lidl supermarket and we are really lucky in having one within walking distance and a further two a short drive away. Every so often they have 'special' weeks when there are items on sale from various countries with a range of food stuff, fresh, frozen, tinned and packets. It's also great at Christmas with lots of interesting goodies. We shopped at our local store 2 days ago and there was plenty of fresh fruit & veg, despite the recent shortages and restrictions. Its a great store for all your every day shopping needs at very competitive prices"

"New and clean Lidl in the neighbourhood. The only downside is always missing products (especially eggs and toilet paper). I couldn't get the pattern, but I never saw this shop stocked up fully."

"Walked in to this Lidl awhile ago, heard commotion ringing around the store. It was actually a Lidl staff member berating/belittling some immigrant, who clearly didn't have English as a 1st language, who was struggling to work the self service machine. The staff member in question was a lady with a southern accent. In recent days I've seen this again up close with another foreigner. A truly condescending/aggressive attitude towards anyone who falls foul using the checkout machine. If someone from Lidl reads this and can identity this lady, they need to step in and sort this out. It looks terrible and I imagine they've gotten away with it more than once."
