Cultural experience in Swinton

“Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”

“We saw this place while walking past the other day and thought we'd try it out tonight. I'm so glad that we did because the food was amazing, everything was piping hot and tasted absolutely perfect. We got one of the set meals that they offer and we thought it was really good value for money as the portion sizes were great. Also, the staff were very polite and friendly. “Great local warm friendly pub with great drink offers, staff and great entertainment all week with a good old fashioned quiz on a Monday night, open mike every other Tuesday nights, Bingo Wednesday nights, Friday tea time entertainment at least once a month and not forgetting the Karaoke on a Saturday night with over 135,000 songs to choose from it caters for everyone and also great disco as well to have a dance to.”

“My Brother Faiz has come a long way! HIs food is exquisite and he never disappoints me. The cakes from there are delicious. The best takeaway in Swinton! If you haven't been there before you are missing out! I would personally recommend this place.”

“I can only go off my own experiences when reviewing here and have found Salford Community Leisure excellent value for money. I have the monthly corporate all inclusive package, which gives you full access to all of the classes, gyms and pools across the Salford area. Some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but for what you pay and for what you get, you are getting a really good deal. The staff and instructors I've found all incredibly friendly and helpful. There's a great range of gym classes at all times of the day, evenings and weekends. You can book over the phone, on their booking system and also on their app. My only criticism is like I mentioned earlier, where some of the gyms are in better condition than others, but that is sadly out of SCL's control due to Tory central government cuts over the past 12 years, meaning budgets are tight. I believe there are plans for all of the gyms to eventually be redeveloped or refurbished, but obviously these things take time.”
