Cowbury Green
“Love this place, grew up round here, love the addition of the smallholding and honesty shop where you can buy food to feed the chickens and sheep, just perfect for my two year old granddaughter”
Stamford Park
“Really nice park, done a lot of work on it since I last visited. Small and large play areas. Water fountains to play in. Nice walks around through the woods and small animals and birds to see.”
The Old Thirteenth Cheshire Astley Volunteer Rifleman Corps Inn
“Had to sunday lunches delivery to day absolutely gorgeous highly recommended arrived time they said and a bonus didn't have to reheat will defo order again roll on next Sunday”
Stamford park
“It's a beautiful place to visit with a boating lake, aviaries, play areas for big kids and little kids and some lovely short walks. Not to mention bowling tennis football and a cafe. It's also got a train and ice-cream in summer. It's just unfortunate that the botanical house has died a death ( shame on you shameside!)”
The White House
“I've been here a couple of times now and loved the ambiance. I've been mostly for the live music on a Saturday night. Reasonable range of beers, nice pub with a good atmosphere and some cracking bands. Highly recommended”
The Lord Stamford
“Great place, staff and regulars are friendly. Lots of sports tv. Gets noisy during events but all in all a good time can be had in here”
Giuseppe’s Sicilian Bistro
“Visited on a Friday evening and loved the whole experience. Great decor, amazing food and attentive service. Can't wait to visit again! The desserts are a must.”
Wild Bank Community School
“Fantastic school with friendly supportive teachers who always go the extra mile for their pupils. A lovely family atmosphere with happy well-behaved kids.”
Back To The 80s
“If you love the 80s music and cheesy throwback tunes, this is the place to be. If you don't, keep on walking! Staff were nice, doorman was friendly.”
