Sarah and her team kept everyone totally involved and all left with an impressive showstopper cake and salted caramel eclairs. “Went here for a family dinner. At first it didn't give authentic street food feel. Until it started getting served. The food, the taste, the appearance, the smell, everything was fresh. It tasted beautiful. Full of flavours. The dosa definitely hit the spot. And so did everything else. Friendly staff who recommends only the items suiting your palate. Had a good time here. Will definitely visit again.”

“I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”

“Booked for a table of 12 and the restaurant were really accommodating where other places have not been. The staff are delightfully cheerful and willing to assist with any requests - including helping with taking photos for us! The food and drinks all arrived really promptly and everything looked delicious. Would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant - we had a wonderful time and will be back again very soon.”

“Another 5* experience at the Grove today. I was able to speak to the wonderful chef Haz who adapted a dish to accommodate my husbands ( numerous) food allergies. My chicken flatbread was amazing too. Lovely welcoming staff. Really worth a visit.”

“Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”

“Curated clothes that are very special. There are two shops and I usually head to both (McQueens and Fonda) as they carry different pieces. Whenever I wear something from one of these clothes stores, people ask me where I got it from. I've even been stopped on the street and asked. Whoever the buyer is has a great eye for what stands out in the very best way. In my experience, the assistants have been very relaxed about me trying on loads of stuff, and have been honest about what works and what doesn't. Great quality too. And I think everything chosen has some sort of sustainability credential. More shops like these please!”
