“We've been here three times now and this is the best Indian food that I've had outside of India! The dishes are much more interesting than your usual Indian restaurant - with so much more flavour and beautifully presented. There are excellent vegetarian choices for both starters and main courses. The staff are really friendly and attentive and keen to chat about the menu if you need help choosing. We are very lucky to have this restaurant in Romiley!”

“Just literally finished the food and was absolutely spot on. Burgers were soooooo nice and everything else on top was amazing. We had an issue with missing items on delivery as the driver didn’t drop it off and they soon got us a replacement ready and treated us to some ice cream for the issue. Met the guys, absolutely lovely people and happy to help. Thanks guys will be definitely back there soon!”

“We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

“Gorgeous cafe. Fits right in with the Underbank development. The coffee is fab and the vegetarian breakfast (smashed avocado with poached eggs and halloumi) was amazing but it's the little touches that nailed it for me: 1. an umbrella stand and a coat stand, ideal when it's a soggy day outside (no dripping all over the cafe) and; 2. a steak knife to cut the sourdough toast. Much underrated. I spotted the cakes as I paid and went back later to sample. The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake was incredible. Try the mushrooms on toast. Amazing.”

“What a great place. One of my favourite pubs. Huge selection of ales, really well priced, brilliant atmosphere and hand made pizzas on a weekend. Can't beat it if you like beer.”

“Absolutely amazing service, my dog was so scared of being seperate from me and had never been to a groomers before but she is so happy and had such a wonderful time and has come out a completely different dog. Thank you to the team at Lap of Luxury for helping me get her nails done and I will definitely be returning!”

“What an amazing experience this was. Currently this week on a training course in the area and we stopped off to have an authentic beautiful and delicious meal. Incredibly friendly service would not hesitate to come back. Such a lovely restaurant which proves that individual restaurants are the best. The place is full of personality and friendliness. I’ll definitely be back next month from an Italian background myself. The food was amazing and some of the best I’ve ever had”

“Great place - went there a few months ago on the way to the cinema, messed up our timings and they were super helpful getting us the food really quickly. They had a really good looking wine list and also a properly interesting whisky list, need to go back and sample it properly!”

“I have to say when this was an option for our meal my first thought was, really? Nah? BUT I WAS SO WRONG. This place is amazing. Our party of 7 were greeted by friendly staff and nice decor. The food was amazing and very tasting. The pictures DO NOT do the food justice. Please give this place a try.”

“Excellent food, nice cosy atmosphere with an open fire. This is not a standard Robinsons food pub, it has local fresh produce prepared by a good chef, with nice little extras. Staff are always polite and the best thing for us is that we can go somewhere for an excellent meal with our dog, as they welcome dogs and always ask if you want water for your dog. Since we moved to the area a couple of years ago it is our favourite place to eat out without leaving our furry friend home alone.”

“Never been here before but its reputation precedes it and we weren't disappointed. The menu was extensive with plenty of mouth watering dishes to enjoy. The waiters were friendly and efficient. Although the place was packed, we didn't feel pressured to finish up. When the bill arrived we couldn't believe how reasonable it was - and that just topped off the evening nicely. A++”

“I don't think they deliver, but it's worth collecting from as it's a very friendly, welcoming, nice place. I've ordered for pick up quite afew times and the food's ready not long after I arrive. This is a top Indian restaurant, I always order knowing the food will be top quality because they never let us down. It's always clean, it can get very busy during the bank holidays. There is parking at the back of Sainsbury's.”

“Absolutely top class restaurant. All safety measures in place. Meals were huge, and we were lucky enough to get the government incentive discount so doubly pleased. The staff are hard working and polite, and its so busy its best to book ahead.”

“Really, really great. Delicious food - my grilled prawns were gorgeous - butterflied whole prawns with a very tasty chilli sauce. My husband’s spare ribs were declared the best he has ever had!! The main courses - cod with three spice sauce, and their red Thai chicken curry were perfect. All done with excellent hygiene precautions.”

“Went for the first time last night, 30 min drive away but would definitely go again, quality of the food was spot on, big portions, and good service, 2 adults and 2 kids we had poppadoms mixed starter for two three curries 2 rice 2 chips and one naan plus drinks came to £110 can’t complain, highly recommend :)”
