“Big store with lots of arts, crafts pretty much anything needed for birthdays, weddings we call in on a few occasions for things needed. We have been in a lot lately due to sorting my daughters 18th, staff are very friendly one lady that works there is always smiling and chatting (older lady) we found an easel online comparing prices which was the same price as instore I'd rather pick up than have things delayed in delivery from Amazon.”

“Hobbycraft as always is a welcoming place. I was with a friend today so actually resisted buying anything (which was really hard!!) I can spend hours just walking around and getting ideas for things to make. I usually buy fat quarters to make Christmas baubles...see pictures attached.”

Been in a few times,the new chef has some tricks up his sleeves , had the steak burger and my girlfriend had the lasagne, probably the least daring choice on the menu and still blew us away! 100% recommend eating here, stayed for a few hours afterwards for drinks too! “I Celebrated my 50th Birthday Party here 30th April 2022. This place was Amazing. It had everything you needed for my event. The main hall was a great size for the amount of people that came. There is also another room which came in handy. Kitchen was spot on. very clean indeed. As food was to be served. Fridge, oven, microwave, was available. Toilets were were fresh and tidy. Firswood Community Centre I will give 10 out of 10 for Service. Sharon who runs the place, is so friendly and pleasant. I will definitely be booking here again. A lot of my guest have already booked in dates for future events. Everything you needed was catered for here. Other Venues hourly rate were twice the price, and not as good a service here. I didn’t have one complaint all night about anything to do with this centre. My birthday was a success, all thanks to Firswood Community Centre. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

The new owners have worked really hard to make this a new experience, and it has completely been refurbished to a high standard. My son was a bit cranky as it was near his bedtime but the staff were patient and friendly. Special thanks to Abdul and Satko who took care of us during the dinner. One of the only Indian takeaway places I know that offer quorn as an option for vegetarians as oppose to just vegetable options and the Quorn Bhuna was amazing! I went for my standard first order of a Lamb Tikka Madras, the lamb was tender, not at all chewy and the Madras had a lot of flavour. It was on the milder side of some Madras I've had but would order it again!”
