“We went to Terra & Mare on Christmas Day and it was absolutely amazing. I was in charge of booking a restaurant for our family Christmas Day meal. I found Terra & Mare online, and although the reviews were excellent, I was still a little apprehensive because I had never eaten there before and I just wanted everything to be perfect for ourselves and my parents. Well, thanks to all of the amazing staff at the Terra & Mare our Christmas Day was absolutely perfect. From the second that we walked through their doors, you could tell that you were in great hands. They immediately took our jackets and sat us at our table, then within a minute or two they brought us some drinks over. Every single member of staff was so attentive and couldn't do enough for you, and they did it all with a huge smile on their face. There were five of us in our party, and each and every course that we had was absolutely delicious, and there was nothing that you could fault. This was the first time that we had managed to be together as a family at Christmas for three years, so thank you to everyone at the Terra & Mare for helping to make this one absolutely perfect.”

“Myself and my partner took my parents here on Saturday night when they had come up to visit. It was a fairly last minute booking so the only time available was 8.30pm but it was so worth it. We arrived a little early and it was very busy! There was a large group leaving and there were another large group sat down at the table. We were told we could wait at the bar and order a drink. The man at the bar was lovely, though clearly very busy dealing with drinks orders for tables as well as the 6 people standing at the bar, but we were happy to wait. By the time our drinks orders were done a table was ready and we were taken to be seated. Every member of staff was a delight in there. And the food? AMAZING. As we finished up our meal the chef came out to ask how our meal was. What a lovely guy! We had a little chat with him before leaving. As we left and got in a cab the chef came running out with my dad's phone and glasses he left at the table. Can't wait to go back. So glad we booked here.”

This is a top Indian restaurant, I always order knowing the food will be top quality because they never let us down. It's always clean, it can get very busy during the bank holidays. There is parking at the back of Sainsbury's.”

I am not african but my husband is and he is very frustrated with sand in egusi and beef not being fried enough or plantain being burnt ....he even stopped eating..until tonight where our local restraunt was closed and just by chance an angel pointed us in your direction...we thaught nooo not another one but as soon as we opend our food we smelt freshness the plantain was like heaven the egusi yummy and u get enough meat with ur rice. “Today I went to Linguine for my best friends 21st birthday meal. There were 9 of us in total and the staff at the restaurant made sure to seat us on a large table with plenty of space. The table was very clean and set up lovely. The staff were very welcoming and friendly from the get go. The staff made sure that nobody was left without a drink and would regularly ask if we needed anything else. The waiting time for food was short and the food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. The food portions were very generous and very good for the price! The staff also brought out a birthday cake and everyone sang happy birthday. It was a lovely meal for my friends birthday all thank you to the staff at the restaurant. They definitely made our evening. I will be returning:) Thank you so much for such a wonderful night.”

“Great stay at the Cornerstones guest house. Spotlessly clean room - nice decor and loads of space. Had all the comforts I needed including a hairdryer. Lovely big bathroom, excellent shower and loads of space to put all my bits and pieces out. Free parking included. Lovely welcome and top notch host. Excellent vale for money.”

“Lived in the area for over a year and finally visited the restaurant on Friday evening. It was fantastic. We got the 3 course deal which I think was around £22 ( £18 for 2 course). Fantastic food and the service was brilliant. Very warm and attentive staff and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice high ceilings. Lobster bisque ravioli was 10/10 and the pavlova for dessert was the best I've ever had. We walked out with high praise and can't wait to return.”
