“Lovely little cafe, had a walk in the park with my family then found the café very friendly and warm, staff are many adults with learning difficulties which was so lovely as my youngest son has Downs syndrome. Food was good and the coffee was hot, my son enjoyed the freely available paper and pencils”

“After a nice walk down the local loop line and a play on the park, the café in the village is a fabulous place to head for. Warm and welcoming staff, serving delicious hot and cold food. The kids love a nice hot chocolate and sticky bun. The traditional post office is still tucked in the corner for your convenience too. Thanks for being there, see you again soon.”

“Back to the way pubs used to be, there was a real sense of welcome on arrival, and also a lot of looks from the locals as I was a new face. I instantly got talking to the guy on the stool next to me followed by another local who also seemed keen to socialise. Quite a few in the big room watching football, a few people to the sides reading books and the papers. The fact its attached to a restaurant lends itself to staying for that extra drink, and taking a meal home to appease the wife! Really nice bar and environment, it's back to how pubs used to be, makes a really refreshing change.”

Having recently had an extension on our home, the owner came to our home on a few occasions in order to make sure the measurements were accurate and that we would utilise our space to its maximum potential. We then had the pleasure of choosing our worktop and appliances which can always be a stressful and back and forth experience! However the team at Top Living stayed patient with us and helped us choose the perfect kitchen. Once the units and appliances were chosen, we had the fitters come out in the 6 weeks time scale that were given. They were a brilliant team who worked very efficiently and with minimal disruption. As a family, we were over the moon with how the kitchen came out. We were extremely pleased and would always recommended using Top Living to friends and Family.”

“We had a fantastic couple of nights at The Lamb Inn - such a cosy and welcoming pub with excellent service and delicious food. The bed was so comfy and the room was brilliantly equipped, and a great location for visiting different parts of the Peaks. The roast dinner on Sunday and the cooked breakfasts were a definite highlight for us and we would love to come back again! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and looked after :)”

“Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. They really looked after my mother in law who is on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis. Food was lovely and the staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The hotel, as you would expect for a wedding venue, does have really picturesque and well kept gardens, and for me it was an undiscovered gem. We will be back for afternoon tea very soon. “This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. “I have eaten here tonight, rather too much in fact. The chicken and tarragon ham pie was so delicious, and the veg was cooked just soft enough for my liking. The portion of side chips was generous. The chocolate torte was rich and I'm honestly glad I didn't go for cream on it! Highly recommended.”
