“Let's be honest - this is a Pharmacy not a Clinic in any way shape or form. Consultations are thorough, conducted what appeared to also serve as a small stock room, though they are private. The pharmacist was very keen to give advice and very pleasant. My appointment was at short notice and they had the innoculations I required at a reasonable cost. All in all a good visit.”

However, it was very clean and well maintained yet this is rated 2star?? (I stayed at Park Royal, where the carpet in the room was disgusting and toilet wouldn't flush, yet this was rated 4 stars!!!) Here at Stockport nothing was too much trouble as we checked in at 1am after a flight delay and this continued the following morning with excellent customer service from all staff. Definitely brought Travelodge back up the booking ladder for a stay in Manchester anyway.”

My hair cut has developed over time, I love it and it very much suits me and my life style. My elderly fathers always looks forward to Dave's visits and a bit of a chat alongside his haircut. He also cuts my sons hair, my son has issues with having his hair cut, Dave is always respectful of that and makes him feel comfortable,. Three generations, all happy, highly recommend!”

“We have stayed at this PI regularly for about 15 years so that we can visit family. Even though team members have changed, it is still staffed by a great team of friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are spotlessly clean. Thank you all! However, over the last couple of years, a very clear and "uncomfortable" demarcation has evolved between this PI and the associated restaurant. The restaurant has extremely rigid rules for eating times etc. and enforces them in a forthright manner... it makes the whole hotel experience unpleasant. We prefer to eat at the great Café in Tesco, a short walk away. The staff are really lovely and the food is good - far less stressful.”

“I have used 1919 Taxi's for many years, all for small journeys, recently i had a long journey to go on and hired a taxi with them for me and my teen daughter. the phone staff were polite and happy to answer my many questions, the price was brilliant, and we was in the taxi for 2 hours. The driver was helpful, polite and happy to talk, he even offered to stop at the services if we needed them.
