“Well, where do I start. It’s great here. Great but… Just a few negatives. Or development points - Only 1 free pint. Pitiful. - my drinking partner made me hurry my drink. I’ll drink when I’m ready. - not enough staff smelled of disinfectant - the noise was too ambient - it wasn’t overpriced enough - the mistletoe was too high - too many urinal cakes - the lady with grey beard behind the bar had a ‘ghost of Christmas past’ vibe Other than that a really pleasant experience. The right amount of gas and stemmed beer glasses too. 6 out of 5 for me.”

“Long-established local cafe with relaxed vibe. Decent home made cake and good tea. Breakfast well cooked and can be tailored to your taste.”

“Was passing through Glossop and pulled in as heard scraping from my wheel, it was 4:45 and 3 hours from home. The guys dropped what they were doing to sort my wheel out in minutes. I would've been stuck without them, massive help and great service”

“Friendly staff, plenty of slots for camping. Toilet and shower facilities were good and looked fairly recently refurbished. Only downside was that the road noise is extremely loud if you get placed at the bottom of the campsite, I’m sure it’s fine if you’re in a caravan but if you’re in a tent you’ll definitely hear it. Overall good experience and it’s well located for hikers and backpackers.”

“Popped into M&S Sunday needed flowers and chocolates for my wife’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and when I came to the checkout it was a bit busy so I went to self checkout. Not switched on to that system but a lovely lady called Carol whisked it through for me, she was great, service with a smile! My wife rates M&S and I can see why. We’ll done Carol!”
