“Arrived for a family wedding . The staff are lovely and made everyone very welcome. Well done ladies! The rooms are very clean and some have fantastic views-we had a double room (number 11). The wedding room was so pretty and the whole thing was just lovely. Our food was absolutely delicious and I have to say that the garlic mushrooms on sour dough toast (starter) was fabulous! For breakfast we opted for the cooked option which was really nice and there was a veggie option too. The location is wonderful for people wanting dramatic outdoor photos with lovely scenery in the background. It was just lovely .”

“Fabulous food & lovely atmosphere, it was our first visit here & we'll definitely return. We tried the pizza's but the Italian standard dishes that everyone else were ordering looked fantastic. The decor is a little dated but if you value food quality over a restaurant "looking modern" then definitely go here.”

“Oh my god, this is the best kebab I've ever eaten in my entire life. I'm from out of the area so looked up local takeaways on just eat and I'm glad I chose to order here. The meat is like nothing I've ever tasted and the guys behind the counter couldn't have been anymore friendlier. Even threw in a free drink for my son. I'm very impressed and will definitely be back when I'm next in the area. Mind = blown!”

“Being new to the area, I thought I'd give this place a try and wow what a great Chinese takeaway! Food was delivered on time and all aspects of it were absolutely spot on, not greasy and tasteless at all (as I find many Chinese takeaways usually are). “I have been to many functions at this venue and always had a great night. Always made to feel welcome even when I have been there on my own. The staff are very friendly and also very accomodating when I have held events there. One such event was on the 14th August where it was a great night and the staff even helped decorate the room as well as cleared everything into a tidy area for us to collect the next day. I noticed a 1* review from a guest at the previous event.. The lady claims to have been Merry but not drunk yet was abusive and confontational to other guest including myself. Later at her hotel it took 8 police officers to escort her from her room after she constantly tried to attack on of her own party. If thats not drunk I'd hate to see how you behave when you are? The fact this lady 2 weeks later is still trying to cause trouble, speaks more about her than the venue she is trying to bad mouth.”

“Enjoyed a very nice meal at the waggon Inn. A little pricey considering you need to order potatoes and vegetables to go with your main if ordering lamb shank. Puds also pricey at £7.50 but decent portions. Good service.”

“This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. “Really had a perfect party thanks to the Blue Tiffin. Thanks for letting us use your function room. Everyone was at ease the moment we walked in, were really looked after, and were entertained from beginning to end. Nothing was too much. We had three course meals, and as a party of 50, I’m pleased to say that everyone’s culinary needs were deliciously met to perfection. We had some people with quite specific dietary needs; gluten free, and vegan to be specific. Nothing was too much and they loved it. Thank you again for going above and beyond, and making it a perfect evening to cherish and remember.”

Their Lobster meal was massive and tasted good, along with the african meal (Amala and Okra soup) I ordered. I would 100% recommend this place and they also do deliveries if you think of it.”
