“What a joy to step into (excuse the pun) such a great shoe shop. Marvellous customer service. Danny and his whole family work together to make it a pleasant experience. The range of shoes is great. I have to have comfortable fitting shoes and I've found a gem of a shoe shop that supplies such high quality, comfortable fitting shoes. More importantly wider fitting ones too! In the past I've walked long distance and endured the pain but with Allens footwear I'm now able to to walk long distance in amazing pain-free comfort. You can't go wrong with such a fantastic choice.”

“The 1st thing I should mention is that I am an absolute OCD freak and as such expected a high standard from a paid for service. I left little 'clues' around my house before leaving for work just to check and I was pleasantly surprised on my return as nothing was missed. I've never met any of the cleaning team as they have a key but when Nicola visited me initially to quote, she immediately struck me as charming, professional and I had no problem whatsoever entrusting her with the job. Walked out 2.5hrs later after ordering three outfits and your service was undoubtedly first class! My appointment was an hour long and when customers started coming in and the shop was busy I didn't feel rushed or under any pressure. “The 5 stars are for the shoes and young man who served us, not the whole experience. I took my grandson for his 1st pair of shoes. The member of staff who actually served us was great. He was patient, helpful, and didn't seem to get stressed when baby didn't want to have his feet measured, he couldn't have been any better, just a very nice young man, along with another male member of staff who offered extra help. I had a bit of trouble getting out of the shop. They had a barrier and a lady manning it. For some reason she mustn't have been able to see two adults with a pram waiting to get past her in her peripheral vision, another member of staff shouted her to get her attention, she then moved to the side but didn't move the barrier, when I mentioned I wouldn't be able to get the pram out she moved it a little to give us the smallest space to get out.(I work in retail so I'm always polite to staff as I know how hard it can be when dealing with customers. For some reason she wasn't being helpful at all.) Apart from that, we were very pleased with the service from the 2 young men who served us and the shoes.”

“Big shout out to Karen! My 3 year old boy was really nervous about having his feet measured, and got a bit upset. She was so kind caring and patient, measured his feet without too much fuss, and even managed to get him giggling and skipping with excitement with his new shoes. She had so much time for him, even letting him scan his own shoes on the way out, and checking that his current shoes fit ok. There were people waiting to be served, but Karen took the time with us, we didn’t feel rushed, and we left with a very happy little boy. Thank you so much”
