“Overwhelmingly positive experience. Got recommended a rare wine from Uruguay that was the best wine I’ve tried. The meat variety and quality is ridiculously good, the waiters keep coming to offer new cuts of meat with a span of minutes until you stop them, and trust me you will. I was there for 2 and a half hours and ate all I could, nobody rushed me and the service is 10/10. I would highly recommend this place either for a date, going out with friends or family. It’s great for any case. I’ll have to fast for a day after this, but worth it!”

All of the staff were very pleasant and the food was faultless. The staff even bought out a birthday cocktail for my birthday which was a really lovely and personal touch. “Great find in central Manchester - good deal in Deansgate. An excellent place in the city centre, with a warm welcome, efficient service, and great atmosphere. And absolutely delicious food to boot. The restaurant has the feel of a city centre pub on entering, but behind and beyond the first room is a series of smaller areas with a distinctly greek taverna feel. Access is all on one level, and whilst the general toilets are down stairs, there is a ground level accessible toilet for those with limited mobility. The staff were delightful and the food came very quickly after ordering. There’s a good range of both meat food and meat free food. And a good range of beers and wines. The price is very reasonable. Certainly a place to go again next time I’m in town.”

“Very nice place to have a few drinks and some delicious pub food reasonably priced. The Botanist is beautifully decorated, the cocktails and selection of drinks is is impressive. I really enjoyed my halloumi hanging kebab and sweet chili fries. The staff is very approachable and attentive. Special thanks to our waiter Sam who kindly made sure that we were happy and well attended at all times. Will go back :)”

“Pleasantly surprised to find this was a Samuel Smith's pub, so very cheap. Beer was very well kept. A very interesting building architecturally too - not your average pub. I did like their "Digital Detox" stance, which meant people were having actual conversations and not just sat looking at their phone!!”
