“I attended the hospital on Saturday 4th March, to undergo an operation. From walking in the entrance to being discharged same day I have nothing but praise for everyone I came into contact with, from start to end. Their friendliness and professionalism put me at ease, the op was a great success, and I was offered coffee, biscuits, toast and juice on several occasions. This is a GOOD hospital with fantastic, caring and hardworking staff. Thank you Wythenshawe Hospital!”

Jo is committed to resolving the root cause not just treating the symptoms which was my experience of other therapists in the past. She has used a variety of techniques on me depending on the problem and where I am up to in my recovery. “This is a fantastic rehabilitation centre! It has everything you need all under one roof for every part of your rehabilitation and onwards. It is fully accessible for all disabilities. I can't rate this place highly enough for everything they do. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. It has a WRVS cafe which is open until 2pm each day. Free Wifi Offer transport services for appointments. Which you do need to book in advance. This centre offers: Specialist Rehabilitation Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Prosthetists, Orthotists Postual Care Specialists and Counselling. Physiotherapy Gym, Wheelchair services, Occupational Therapy, Prosthetics & Orthotics - casting and fitting rooms for both children and adults, Rehabilitation Counselling. The Manchester Prosthetic User Association and Manchester Wheelchair User Group are based here to offer Peer to Peer support to the centre's users. It also has a great resource area with lots of information and event details from numerous charities - Wheel Power, Limbless Association, Limb Power, Blesma, Reach, MacMillan Cancer Support, ManFit, Age UK, LimbCare and many more. The Ability Matters Store is here too, which stocks disability aids and equipment. The lovely staff can help you find exactly what you need to make your daily routine easier. We were worried about leaving them but we needn’t have been, as Simon gave them loads of care and attention. He sent us updates (and cute videos) twice a day.
