“Really lovely takeaway uaing Just Eat app. Arrived on time. Gave extra goodies - I guess as it was our first order. You can tell why they are called Rainbow when you open the containers, really colourful and bright - clearly fresh ingredients from taste, texture and look. Super tender ribs. Big generous portions, such a bargain, will be perfect for party nights. Lots of meat in the fried rice and thick strips for salt and pepper chicken and in the crispy fried beef. So pleased.”

The charge for delivery was only £1 and a 50p service charge so it's a lot cheaper than most other places. Items ordered were of a good quality and were really tasty. You also get a choice of free items depending on how much your order comes to, which is a really good touch. Overall, really pleased with my order and I will definitely be ordering again, this may possibly be my new go to Chinese takeaway!”

“update: have tried their noodles a few times now (Build Your Own Noodles) and i’m always impressed! always super tasty abd very filling. would recommend their Cantonese sauce for the noodles! actually so pleasantly surprised by the food, given the review ratings here. the egg fried rice was good, more on the very soy type of fried rice than the less soy, lighter egg fried rice. the lamb ribs were nice too, slightly tart sauce, meaty fatty ribs. i think the food portion here is really good!”

“The best Chinese restaurant in Manchester, the Star chef is a very good restaurant, the boss is also a very good Sichuan chef, single from the variety of dishes, the variety is very comprehensive. The Han Dynasty and The Star Chef are two completely different restaurant. The owner of the Star Chef rented the front of the Han Dynasty last year, but it also led many people to think that the Han Dynasty and the Star Chef were the same shop. It's totally ridiculous that these two stores are not at all comparable. In my opinion, Star Chef is definitely the best Chinese restaurant in Manchester. Although it is a new restaurant, the chefs here can make the best Chinese food in Manchester. Everyone has rich cooking experience. If you want to enjoy authentic Chinese food, star Chef is definitely the best choice. On top of that, if you show the star chef boss how much you like China, or if you make some great suggestions, the boss may give you some unexpected discounts. And they have new burger and indian menus as well they are more budget friendly.Staffs are very nice especially in the restaurant and in the reception. They are very helpfull and always treat as very well with an present smile. A fantastic place for dining. For the restaurant dining they offer the free parking as well.
