He has come on leaps and bounds, the teachers are incredible at what they do and he absolutely loves being there. This is such a comfort to know he's happy and safe. “My daughter has been at ELC for about 9 months now. Before attednkng, she had an incredible nanny from a very early age. I was very nervous about the transition and level of care offered by a nursery compared to one on one care. We live in Spinningfields, so I conducted in depth research of the city centre childcare options. ELC wasn't the obvious choice compared to the chains in the city centre, but as soon as I met the owners / management I knew it was the right choice. ELC is family run and it really shows. Whenever there are any issues, they are incredibly proactive to create the best experience for our daughter. She had a hard time adjusting to the eating schedule so they asked what kinds of foods we eat at home in order to incorporate them into the menu. There were some staff changes with maternity leave which meant her key worker was changed. The first change didn't gel quite as well, so they transitioned to another key worker who now has an even closer relationship with her. For her settling in session, two of the staff came to our house - which was amazing and really helped her transition. She spends lots of time outdoors and taking walks. This is not the case for the other city centre nurseries. I love their Tapestry App which allows me to follow her activities and development as well as check in when I'm missing her at work. When we're traveling or doing something interesting at home I upload photos and they work them into her engagements. (Again, not available in the other nurseries.) ELC recently received a less than ideal Ofstead report which inspired me to write this review. As a parent, I am far less concerned a out procedures and paperwork than surrounding my daughter with a loving and playful environment. She is, after all, only 18 months!”

“My son attends this school and Insh'Allah so will my daughter. I think the staff and facilities are very good. This is still a very young school and I feel that it is continually getting better. My son used to attend a long established grammar school and I feel they are very comparable, however, here my son learns about Islamic values.”

“Our daughter has been attending Rocking Horse for almost a year and she absolutely loves it . The staff are brilliant and all know her really well and every time I go to collect her in the evening she is happy and content and I am told by staff how her day has been and what she has been doing ( this is also noted in her daily activity book to read at home), there is a real focus on early years development and we have definately noticed how much our daughter has developed since being at the nursery. As working parents you just want to know your child is safe, happy and looked after while you are away from them at work and this is definately the case with Rocking Horse . If you are thinking of sending your little one here I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.”

“Lovely experience had 2 teeth removed and I'm extremely frightened of dentist as my dentist is a butcher with no people skills or patience, so got referred here for sedation although there was roughly a year waiting list for sedation, I didn't need the sedation they went at my speed and let me have a breather when needed. The dentist was patient and got the 2 enormous teeth out can't remember the dentist name as I was that scared when I first went in my mind was blank but shes the best also the lovely dental nurse who assisted her and also kept a big guy like me calm! I've still got to go back for 2 wisdom teeth removed and not one bit anxious as only the first needle hurts a little but it's over within 15 seconds Update just had 2 top wisdom teeth removed of Sheeba and Stacey didn't even feel most of the needles go in. She was really gentle and got both teeth out really quick with no messing around and no pain. Brilliant pair of people”
