“I chose Simpson Millar and am so pleased I did. I liked them immediately from the initial calls when first receiving quotes. They provide great value for money. I had a change of solicitor along the way as my original one left. I dealt with a few different PA's but they were all good. There were a few communication issues with the change over but nothing major. It was never an issue that their offices were a long way from my home or the property I was purchasing. My solicitor Hayley Aspinall is exceptional. So professional and responsive and has amazing attention to detail. She made me feel like my opinions mattered and gave me lots of support during quite a difficult 7 months, always responding to emails quickly and chasing solicitors without ever needing reminding. She dealt with both sale and purchase and I would highly recommend her and Simpson Millar.”

“My daughter has been at ELC for about 9 months now. Before attednkng, she had an incredible nanny from a very early age. I was very nervous about the transition and level of care offered by a nursery compared to one on one care. We live in Spinningfields, so I conducted in depth research of the city centre childcare options. ELC wasn't the obvious choice compared to the chains in the city centre, but as soon as I met the owners / management I knew it was the right choice. ELC is family run and it really shows. Whenever there are any issues, they are incredibly proactive to create the best experience for our daughter. She had a hard time adjusting to the eating schedule so they asked what kinds of foods we eat at home in order to incorporate them into the menu. There were some staff changes with maternity leave which meant her key worker was changed. The first change didn't gel quite as well, so they transitioned to another key worker who now has an even closer relationship with her. For her settling in session, two of the staff came to our house - which was amazing and really helped her transition. She spends lots of time outdoors and taking walks. This is not the case for the other city centre nurseries. I love their Tapestry App which allows me to follow her activities and development as well as check in when I'm missing her at work. When we're traveling or doing something interesting at home I upload photos and they work them into her engagements. (Again, not available in the other nurseries.) ELC recently received a less than ideal Ofstead report which inspired me to write this review. As a parent, I am far less concerned a out procedures and paperwork than surrounding my daughter with a loving and playful environment. She is, after all, only 18 months!”

“My son attends this school and Insh'Allah so will my daughter. I think the staff and facilities are very good. This is still a very young school and I feel that it is continually getting better. My son used to attend a long established grammar school and I feel they are very comparable, however, here my son learns about Islamic values.”

“Our daughter has been attending Rocking Horse for almost a year and she absolutely loves it . The staff are brilliant and all know her really well and every time I go to collect her in the evening she is happy and content and I am told by staff how her day has been and what she has been doing ( this is also noted in her daily activity book to read at home), there is a real focus on early years development and we have definately noticed how much our daughter has developed since being at the nursery. As working parents you just want to know your child is safe, happy and looked after while you are away from them at work and this is definately the case with Rocking Horse . If you are thinking of sending your little one here I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.”

“Our child learned a lot from Busy Bee: language wise, motion wise, social skill wise, etc. Busy Bee workers are very responsive. We especially like the Parent Zone app. It gives us the chance to learn what our child did in nursery better.”

“This is my child fifth year at MCPA and I am so incredibly grateful that is the school where we landed in. I remember 5 years ago when my child started the school without any level or skills in English-speaking. That day we just moved a few weeks ago from Hungary. Nowadays my child is able to reading, writing, counting and speaking fluently in English. Teachers have been phenomenal at MCPA. They care about the children. Truly a school where no child is left behind. The community and school staff has doing everything to make easier the learning process during the first lock down. They provide interesting and challenging home work through class dojo. The school always give every relevant information to parents about their children. Teachers in here are a good role model for every child at MCPA. All members in this community are very supportive and helpful. I recommend this school to everyone who wants to their children in a safe and expert hands with an inspiring environment and helpful community.”

“We have been seeing Dr Oppenheim for the last 7 years. Our son was not attending school and had very high anxiety. Dr Oppenheim assessed and then diagnosed him with ASD and gave us step by step instructions and support to help him back into school. Which were successful. We have had appointments every 3 months without fail through the many ups and downs that come with school & teenage years. Dr Oppenheim has always been correct in her assessment and picked up on any issues we need to address. Her secretary has been amazing too especially when we have required urgent appointments by telephone or zoom. I have recommended Dr Oppenheim to many people because of her thorough assessment, caring but to the point discussions with my son and her ability to talk on his level. Her experience is invaluable.”
