“This cafe is well talked about and very popular with the locals. It's a hidden gem of Stockport. If you like a Sunday afternoon tea this is the place. Lots of little cakes and good quality tea, the thing to have is the teared plates. But will set you back 15 per person. But well worth it. Little sandwiches. Nice. It's all art deco... so it makes you feel like you should dress up to visit!! Service is quite posh here. Love the 1930 feel.”

“Load of us stayed her for a few nights for a family wedding and we had the best time ever. The staff are amazing, went above and beyond for our help and needs. the rooms are fresh and clean. Vending machine, extra tea and coffee etc, clean bedding and towels all at reception in case you need more. Pity the old rectory didn’t have the same standards.”

They offer range of services for men and kids. I highly recommend their Turkish haircut, trim, hot towel And head massage. Great value for money.”

The other favorite is the mushroom soup, fresh made and creamy. If you want some dessert, I would highly recommend the Victoria sponge and fresh made pancake.”

“Ric's first visit to this great Robinson's pub. A regular in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Famous for the food. Sunday roast at £10.50 gets really busy. .. Already busy at 12.30 on a cold February Wednesday afternoon. Yasser Arafic having a great pint of Dizzy Blond. Ric on Veltins. Fantastic heritage interior and a good beer garden. Found just off the market next to ASDA car park entrance. Well worth a visit. I like their music as well.”

“This week we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at The White Hart. The whole staff and establishment couldn't have done anymore for us. Their attention to detail on the day was impeccable and even the smallest request was delivered with such enthusiam and the team were so personable. Even when small hiccups occured before the day Charles and his dedicated team made us feel so valued and wen't completely out their way to get everything the way we wanted it. We had comments from our guests that the quality of the food was the best they have had at a wedding and the venue looked incredible with the roaring fire and it's naturally cosy atmoshphere. The rooms were immaculate and incredibly warm and cosy with all details thought of. We'd like to express our sincere thanks and couldn't reccommend this venue and team more to deliver your special day. “Popped in whilst travelling past. Amazing food, friendly service and lovely pub. The beef wrap was INCREDIBLE. Beef so full of flavour and literally melt in the mouth. Gravy was epic and chips so good too. Kids loved the nuggets and fries and other family members had the roasts. Apparently the best roasts they have had in 15yrs. Proper home cooked food, roasts AND mash and veg that tasted like proper veg! Again epic gravy! Family live over half an hour away but will defo travel again for another visit. 5 stars and more! “A gem of a place. I needed a stop off for a couple of hours whilst my car was being serviced. Great facilities for getting some work done, friendly staff, good food, I couldn't fault the coffee (well made, no burnt milk etc.) and the price point was great (too low IMO). Keep up the good work.”
