“After a nice walk down the local loop line and a play on the park, the café in the village is a fabulous place to head for. Warm and welcoming staff, serving delicious hot and cold food. The food is always great and the latte is amazing, even when different staff members make it, it has the same consistency which is how I like my latte. If you are ever in Walkden pop in and give it a go.”

“A great pub. One of the friendliest pubs in Swinton. Lindsey is a wonderful land lady and goes out of her way to ensure everyone is happy and has a good time. Lots of events going on games nights, karaoke, dancing. I always look forward to a night in there.”

“Best fish and chips I’ve had outside of going to a restaurant for a long time. We have an ‘award winning’ chippy closer to us but much prefer the Winton Bar. Freshly cooked fish, and you can order small fish which for me is more than enough. They lightly batter them on request and they’re cooked to perfection, nice crispy batter and lovely chips (2 small portions enough for 3 of us) not all hard and bitty like I’ve had elsewhere. Friendly staff too.”

“Went for the New Year's evening night and it was amazing. The bar staff were amazing and the live singers were brilliant, they covered music from the 40s all the way up to the 90s. If you are looking for event singers then these sisters are the ones to book. Picture attached has the info.”
