Haven't had my nails done for a while but Lisa has been my nail tech for years and is fabulous. Sophie of Contour Beauty is also amazing. Had a couple of treatments from her aswell. It's just a brilliant 1 stop shop for beauty treatments.”

“This is a beautifully decorated, rustic, enchanting hotel. The 400 year old building is very comfy and warm. An extremely relaxing environment. A fairytale feeling to the aptly named Wizards retreat. Welcomed by the owner Ian and introduced to the area, given plenty of ideas for eating and day out opportunities. The suite (Merlin Suite) was extremely comfortable, warm and a delightful place to stay. Cake, biscuits, teas and coffees and toiletries all included and of a high quality. Just an absolutely delightful stay which we plan to repeat to experience one of the other suites there.”

“This was my third session here with Stefan P. He did my first ever tattoo which was big and took two sessions. I can’t rate him highly enough, he’s courteous, humble, meticulous in his work, gentle and his talent is phenomenal. I love my skull and roses and didn’t think anything could top it, but the day of the dead girl that he’s just done for me, wow, she’s just stunning and I couldn’t be happier with it. It’s been just over a week since my appointment and it’s healing beautifully, as did my skull and roses because Stefan is such a clean and careful artist. I like this salon in Knutsford, it’s a lovely location and parking in the station is ideal for a long day. Fallon is a very friendly and hospitable manager who makes sure everyone is doing ok and has everything they need. I definitely recommend this place and most of all Stefan P, the best tattoo artist I know and I wouldn’t let anyone else tattoo me now, because he’s the best!”

“Lovely little pub in the heart of Poynton. Good seating area out the front and a covered, well-ventilated area at the back. Good range of beers (weihenstephan my personal favourite) and wine. Cheerful staff, helpful and accommodating. Toilets are always clean. Glad to see it survived lockdown!!”

“I like it here. A medium sized pond with a view up to the hills, on a quiet gravel road. Sometimes the cows come down to the water's edge, or the mist makes the whole scene gorgeous. Mallards, tufted ducks, coots, the occasional goosander, heron and kingfisher. Flocks of geese in the fields often. Swans nest here in the summer.”

“This place is my go-to Indian in Manchester/ Greater Manchester. The quality, portion size and taste of food plus the level of customer service I've had regardless of whether I've gone in a group of two or twenty (I've done both and would do again) is unmatched by any other place I've been to. I recently had their banquet set menu in a group of 20. Not one of us could find fault in any of our dishes, which were very generous and tasted absolutely delicious. Can't wait to come back!”

“Really nice national trust park. Has a Cafe and lots of fresh farm produce shops available. Also has a farm and garden but I think they cost extra. Lots of wildlife to be seen along the trails. Only complaint is a lot of the trails are shared with cars and due to the location you often hear planes flying very low.”

“This is a lovely park, not massive but very well kept with a couple of car park options if driving to it. The park has a lake which can be walked round, and grassland which when we went had sheep and lambs wandering around. Its a nice area, if you are expecting a long walk however, you'll probably need somewhere much bigger - but great if you have small people or just need to take dog out for a stretch of the legs!”

“Took my one year old daughter here yesterday, me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed playing with her in the young section of the place. Parking was a bit awkward as it was busy. But once inside, great food to choose from and I like how we could take our time and enjoy the experience without rushing. My daughter loved crawling around and also the sensory room we found it great. Will definitely come back!”

“Very modern cinema with many screens. Located by the river in Northwich. Always immaculate. Efficient and helpful staff. The Silver Screen for £3.50 on line or 4.50 at the cinema, with coffee and a biscuit included, currently at 1300 on Tuesday. Before covid there was a Thursday showing as well. With luck that may return.”
