“Very nice staff. Beds new and comfortable. We were near the road but it didn’t keep us awake ok some furniture in our room was dated but the beds were great. We had a twin room. We got proper beds not a double and a settee. Very good price we searched for a good price and found this Travelodge. Reception staff extremely helpful and very friendly. We would go back again.”

Taxi was offered as a half hour window slot (no false promises!) they even rang me back shortly after to let me know they may struggle for the time I asked for originally but could pick me up 15 mins earlier if that was ok... absolutely! never had that service before. Dave the driver who picked us up during the early hours for our trip to the airport was very professional and considerate to our needs. So very helpful and ensuring we had everything to hand before we left. Simon, who picked us for the return journey was equally professional and considerate. On time and welcoming us both. The vehicle had fresh bottled water and hand wipes provided for our use and even sweets for us to enjoy. The guidance provided for our meeting point at the airport included a short video showing exactly where Simon would be was a great touch. All in all a first class service. Thank you Longfords. “Had a lovely Sunday lunch with family. They really looked after my mother in law who is on oxygen due to pulmonary fibrosis. Food was lovely and the staff were really welcoming, friendly and fun. The hotel, as you would expect for a wedding venue, does have really picturesque and well kept gardens, and for me it was an undiscovered gem. We will be back for afternoon tea very soon. “Fantastic experience staff really friendly afternoon tea is gorgeous. Really recommend if you book through directly or through groupon voucher. Fresh sandwiches and scones were fantastic. Will be visiting here again the location is lovely and we sat in a little room off to the side and was overall great.”

“We have only ever used Davron for trips to and from Manchester Airport and at least in this part of their service I can find no fault. Always been on time to pick us up from home and been on time in the place they said they'd be when we returned from holiday. They seem to have moved office as well - Just a couple of doors up the street.”

“Great store, click and collect locker at side, along with charge points for electric cars, have a pizza and hot food counter, on 2nd floor has a cafe, pharmacy is located here to as well as a timpson on ground floor, along with opticians which is outside, staff are very friendly and helpful. Shop here twice a week.”

“Where do I begin, from the get go I knew this hotel was for me, dirty and cheap. We was one of the lucky ones in the hotel who actually got bedding, there was a bit of a down side due to no shower working but that’s easily fixable as the legend known as IAN In reception said he would get the boys on to it thanks for forgetting to charge us Ian you are the good guy here and me and the boys love ya until next year stay safe and please stay open!
