“Fresh and great tasting curry. Took a couple of pals, who were blown away by the nehari. I had lamb and two veg curries with a chapati and a drink and had plenty of change from a tenner.”

“Easily the best Indian restaurant in the area. Been here for a sit down meal on several occasions. This evening, I had my first take-away and the quality is as consistent as dining in the restaurant. Menu has lots of good options so there is something for everyone. They even offer a 20% discount on all takeaway orders when you collect them in person and I cannot believe the value for money for all of the food I ordered. The food was ready when I arrived 20 minutes after ordering, as promised and the person serving me was very friendly and welcoming. Overall, excellent food and great service. Will definitely come here again.”

The food is delicious with a fab range of texture and great flavour combinations (pushing the boat out while avoiding being unappetising). Recommend for meat lovers and veggies alike.”

“Good menu which made it difficult to choose what I wanted to eat but the dishes I picked were definitely a good choice. Service was impeccable and the waiter was helpful in choosing a wine that I could enjoy for my starter and main course. We even managed to get a slice of the infamous custard tart which was delightful.”

“I don't drink so I always have coffee, my coffee was spot on and as a bonus there was a choice of chocolate biscuits, yum yum, staff very pleasant place spotless definitely would be first port of call if I lived in Disley which is only a mile or so from Stockport and a bit more to Buxton a good starting point for walkers, with Lyme park a few yards down the road”

“It's a great locals pub, The landlord is clearly trying hard! The pub has regular changing cask ales and a good choice at the bar, but if this pub is not supported like so many others all this will be wasted! Support or lose! Check opening times & go and enjoy a few drinks in a great pub.”

“Went here on a Sunday and enjoyed the plant based lunch immensely! Lovely salads and fritata were on offer, which my husband and I both thought were the best things we'd eaten out for a long time. Also lovely craft ale on sale, way better than anything else I've drunk in Withington for a long time!”

“I've been to this pub a fair bit but never sampled the roast until last Sunday. We ordered lamb and a vegan roast, and both were the best we have had in our lives. I cannot begin to even describe how tasty this food was. My girlfriend said it was THE best vegan food she's ever had in a restaurant. The staff are also so welcoming and friendly. The delicious food in combination with the ebullient staff really made our day. Thanks guys! This is without a doubt a 10/10”

“Me and the Mrs went on steak night and were blown away by the quality of the food and service. Initially got a chipped wine glass but when sorted the wine was beautiful and the steak out of this world. The chef was kind enough to give us the ingredients to the anchovy butter sauce that we can't wait to replicate. Not to be missed !”

“Great find for pizza in the edge of the Northern Quarter in Manchester city centre. Staff all appear Italian and are really friendly. All customers are"the Boss" . Pizzas were every bit as good as the photos. Reasonably priced too. Must try the swing seats the next time. Will go back the next time I'm in town.”

“Lived in the area for over a year and finally visited the restaurant on Friday evening. It was fantastic. We got the 3 course deal which I think was around £22 ( £18 for 2 course). Fantastic food and the service was brilliant. Very warm and attentive staff and the atmosphere was lovely. Nice high ceilings. Lobster bisque ravioli was 10/10 and the pavlova for dessert was the best I've ever had. We walked out with high praise and can't wait to return.”

“Very cute Italian restaurant right next to the Piccadilly Rail Station and near the hotel where I had booked. Enjoyed a 10 ‘’ pizza for lunch. Perfect thin crust, great toppings and super service. The staff seem to be Italian so you are eating authentic pizzas .”
