“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“Would 100% recommend. Really good value for money, premises and bedroom/bathroom/showers all spotless. Bed sheets clean and very obviously freshly dressed. Garden beautiful. Just wished our plans gave us the opportunity to enjoy the premises for longer. Would definitely recommend opting in for the breakfast, fantastic value for money and the owner was very keen to cater for personal or dietary needs. Very welcoming.”

We sat in a booth which was good for toddler control! Food was delicious and even our toddler ate loads (beans on toast).”

The cakes are just gorgeous, try the toffee and walnut loaf, who could resist that! Definitely worth a visit. Updated 3rd Feb Enjoyed a delicious take away latte from Bap today. Great to catch up with Marta, who is still smiling through the lockdown. Looking forward to trying my Gin with rhubarb and ginger, sounds delicious and made in Altrincham. Always good to see business coming up with innovative ways to keep going through these tough times. Seeing all the lovely big teddy bears sat at the tables in the cafe, really cheered me up. “Fantastic experience staff really friendly afternoon tea is gorgeous. Really recommend if you book through directly or through groupon voucher. Fresh sandwiches and scones were fantastic. Will be visiting here again the location is lovely and we sat in a little room off to the side and was overall great.”

“Nice wetherspoons pub in the middle of Altrincham. We had food and drinks but they messed up the order so only 3 of the 4 meals arrived together. They didn't charge us for the 4th and put it top of the list. It's cheap, simple and tasty fair. It's nicely decorated and was popular when we visited on bank holiday Monday afternoon.”
