Incredibly friendly service would not hesitate to come back. Such a lovely restaurant which proves that individual restaurants are the best. The place is full of personality and friendliness. “Excellent food, nice cosy atmosphere with an open fire. This is not a standard Robinsons food pub, it has local fresh produce prepared by a good chef, with nice little extras. Staff are always polite and the best thing for us is that we can go somewhere for an excellent meal with our dog, as they welcome dogs and always ask if you want water for your dog. Since we moved to the area a couple of years ago it is our favourite place to eat out without leaving our furry friend home alone.”

“I don't think they deliver, but it's worth collecting from as it's a very friendly, welcoming, nice place. I've ordered for pick up quite afew times and the food's ready not long after I arrive. This is a top Indian restaurant, I always order knowing the food will be top quality because they never let us down. It's always clean, it can get very busy during the bank holidays. There is parking at the back of Sainsbury's.”

“Went for the first time last night, 30 min drive away but would definitely go again, quality of the food was spot on, big portions, and good service, 2 adults and 2 kids we had poppadoms mixed starter for two three curries 2 rice 2 chips and one naan plus drinks came to £110 can’t complain, highly recommend :)”

“Amazing authentic Halal Chinese in Manchester. We ordered a variety of dishes off the menu and each item was out of this world! All flavours were so unique and the dips - loved the HK sauce (which came with each dish) each complimented the flavours so well. We ordered the prawn and chicken dumplings steamed dumplings, the typhoon squid and veggie spring rolls to start and was pleasantly surprised with how hot and fresh each of the items were. This was followed by our Bao buns; Prawn and Chicken bao were absolutely scrumptious. We thought it couldn’t get any better and then came the star of the show… Lamb on Crack! Just WOW - melt in your mouth lamb with an amazing taste which makes them sooooo addictive - Now we understand why they’re called “Lamb on Crack”!!! Just truly blown away by the whole experience: food, service, prices and hospitality. Very generous owner who went above and beyond to satisfy its customers with a service with a smile and hot fresh food, all at a great price - this is an example of how a food business should be. “Randomly found ourselves just outside Stockport this morning, wanting a breakfast. Google'd for a cafe and it suggested Flora. What a lovely find, the prices matched the food, excellent. First time I've been served egg & beans on toast as a toasted sandwich but I'll be making it that way for myself in the future. Coffee was fresh and smooth.”

“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“Strines Nightingale shows their is hope for an incredible venue, after death by annexed strangulation, that has been dished out by the corporate drinks industry to the independent pubs in the High Peaks. There’s nowhere you’d rather be locally. The type of place you’ll realise makes you want to relocate to the area. All whilst listening to music worthy of James Ford short. It’s effortless. You won’t be disappointed. A credit to the area.”
