“Short version? Fantastic south Indian food, brilliant service and warm surroundings. Totally different to the one that was there before. Long version. Some of the best south Indian food me and the wife have ever had. This restaurant used to be something totally different called monal, we are local just being down the road. Tried it when it was monal, really dissappinting. Bad food and service, horrible atmosphere and very expensive. This is now under totally new ownership we were glad to find when we went in. We took in the menu and ordered a bit of everything that took our fancy. The curries we had were EXCELLENT. The naan, the onion bajis, the rice... All of it was high quality, cooked with care and fresh! So glad to have this place on our doorstep. The best bit? The Dosa! Incredible food. “Stumbled across this place by mistake. Well, it was a great mistake because the food was amazing. Very quick, tasty and fresh. It wasn’t bland, and the bread they used was soft and fresh too, the sauces used made the shawarma extra tasty. Recommend it for sure and would definitely visit again. Not too pricey either.”
