Best food destination in Altrincham

“We went to Phanthong for lunch on Saturday and ordered from the A La Carte menu. The decor is lovely. The food was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. We had young kids with us and they loved the food too, especially the pad Thai noodles. The service was excellent. Would definitely recommend this place and will be back again.”

“So happy to have found this place; twice I’ve had fish & chips from there now and it is the best fish & chips I’ve ever had. Usually when ordering fish & chips from places, I will eat the fish and a few of the chips and bin the rest. On both occasions, I have actually enjoyed eating the chips as well as the fish, as the chips in this place are perfection itself! The fish is freshly cooked to order and they don’t hang around, they’re ‘on it’ as soon as you’ve placed your order. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.”

“Most recently we went for early (around 9am) breakfast with our 2 year old. It was quiet but still had a pleasant atmosphere. Service was great and very friendly/accommodating. We sat in a booth which was good for toddler control! Food was delicious and even our toddler ate loads (beans on toast).”

“What a cool place. Can imagine it's really busy at the weekend. Visited late on a week day and the staff were lovely. Such great cakes and bakes too offer. My hubby was really interested in the IPA on offer, can't beat a craft beer when out. Straight from the keg too. Will certainly be back for more”

“We were booked in to meet relatives for lunch. They were travelling and were massively late. La Famiglia couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. They kept our booth for us for the afternoon and wouldn't take payment for the drink we had whilst waiting until we returned later and they put it on the final bill. The service and food was fabulous when the family finally arrived. 100% will be going back.”

If you dare try the belly buster it's a sandwich the size of you head filled with all the breakfast ingredients, equally you can pick from a huge selection of sandwiches or just invent your own. “Great local cafe serving a lovely cup of tea, just what you need to perk you up when your out shopping. My husband loves the coffee. Lovely selection of fresh sandwiches and of course Bap’s. The cakes are just gorgeous, try the toffee and walnut loaf, who could resist that! Definitely worth a visit. Updated 3rd Feb Enjoyed a delicious take away latte from Bap today. Great to catch up with Marta, who is still smiling through the lockdown. Looking forward to trying my Gin with rhubarb and ginger, sounds delicious and made in Altrincham. Always good to see business coming up with innovative ways to keep going through these tough times. Seeing all the lovely big teddy bears sat at the tables in the cafe, really cheered me up.
