I was present when James entered the shop, helped himself to coffee without asking or being offered (I appreciate we’ve all been raised differently!) .. jumped the queue .. before announcing ‘the last barber messed my haircut up and I would like mine washing now’ .. I was in the seat near the window and I looked at the owner with an expression of ‘what the ***‘ absolutely amazed at his rudeness. Still.. they all treated him with respect. Amazed to see the review below ! I too have been going to this barbers since they opened. They are 100% top drawer. Absolutely professional, courteous and polite. Nothing is too much trouble. A credit to Glossop.”

“Cheap and cheerful haircuts, especially if you don't have a great deal of hair like me! They also offer a bit of a pampering with a Turkish style shave if that's your bag. They have music on a TV in the corner, staff are friendly and affable, they always ask exactly what you want and how you want it, plus selling a few hair products. Only drawback is they don't take card payments, though there is a cash machine in the tesco just a minute away.”

“Just passed the place and it was quite so I popped in for a much needed trim. Place was clean and stylish, was warmly greeted by a friendly young lad who did exactly what I wanted. Alison and Mark are great at what they do, they have both regularly cut my husband and sons' hair and do a great job. They have iPads if needed for the kids to keep them still, and always have a little treat for them at the end as a reward. They take card payment and it's easy to park close by. 100% recommend - 5 stars!”
