“Stayed overnight to see Peter Kay. Lovely hotel, large room with a very comfy bed. Huge television. Couldn't beat the price either. Didn't use the pub/restaurant but it looked great and lively. Amazing location and easy to get to from the train station. Will definitely stay again.”

“I would recommend the comedy store any day of the week. Staff were pleasant . Place was clean and tidy and in a prime location near to other events in the heart of Manchester. Its quite a large venue which could seat around 200 people as an estimate. maybe they offer to hire out the venue? i dont know but its worth mentioning. Would be back very soon. “This brewery outlet and restaurant has a pleasant green setting in Old Glossop with outdoor and indoor seating, helpful staff and imaginative options on the menu, including vegan and veggie ones - a lot of the options are light bites rather than full meals, and of course there are the various house beers. The pictured jerk chicken dish really was divine and as you can see also nicely presented. I liked the chef's dedication and enthusiasm. It's worth going to try some dishes that are a bit different, even if you're not big on beer. On that topic, I haven't the heart to deduct a star for it, but it is a shame that no alcohol-free beer is on offer, and secondly, I once ordered a home-brewed 'Hefeweizen' which is a German-style wheat beer cloudy with yeast in it, and it was served lukewarm. Being firstly German and secondly a refreshing summer drink this type of beer absolutely needs to be consumed properly chilled!”

“Great little bar with fabulous staff! We hired the back room for a small birthday party. Adam was great, asking what drinks and music we'd like in advance. The room is small but it's big enough for 30 people to mingle. There's table service - and the staff were fantastic in operating the tab system, so you only pay for your own drinks. No food, but we could probably have ordered bar snacks. This was a lovely venue for a small party and the evening was made really special by the great staff.”
