“Called in 4 days ago when everywhere was snowed under and the roads were deadly with ice! The absolutely lovely landlady came rushing to the door and guided us into the warmth. She had one of the staff make a hot coffee for my husband free! I bought a lager and lime which was just perfect. While we were there two paramedics called in to use the toilets; and again, the landlady made them both a cup of coffee free of charge! What a lovely, down to earth lady! The other staff were friendly too. Really nice, traditional pub with wonderfully welcoming staff. Highly recommended! ☺️”

“I've been going to star Gents, the owner at Best Barber for the past 5/6 months - he's consistently given me the best haircuts I've had. My hair gets curly when it's long and TBH a lot of stylists just don't know how to handle it - not star gents, he gets it right every time to the point where I always have people comment on how good my hair looks (maybe that means I need to go more often). I get a pretty "traditional" cut, but just from looking around I see a lot of guys getting great haircuts that are on trend - so they've got what you're looking for”
