“Did our tour Saturday morning, Gary the tour guide was brilliant and really entertaining, right balance of humour and information, the brewery has the historical and brand new brewing equipment which makes it stand out as a great tour, we finished off in the Arden Arms to sample some of the drinks we heard about. Sad to hear the Unicorn Brewery is moving to new premises and from April next year these tours will not continue.”

“First time visit to this place and had a fabulous time. The menu has a really good selection of starters and tapas dishes to choose from. As a party of 4 we all chose 3 dishes each which was plenty, the food was really tasty and cooked well. I've had tapas at other places which haven't been as good as it was here. The service was very good as we didn't have to wait long for the dishes and they all arrived together. None of us had any desserts as was comfortably full after. We had the red house wine which was really good but a little on the expensive at £19.50 a bottle. The food is reasonable priced per dish depending on your choice but all the drinks such as a glass of small brandy is quite expensive considering its in Sale. They had entertainment on, 3 guys playing Spanish music which was very good as all live. I would return as we all enjoyed the food with good service.”

“We hired the upstairs room for a get together with friends. We had a fantastic time! The guys working there were friendly and helpful and did everything they could to make our time with them a great one. The Sunday roast was amazing! “A warm relaxing ambience , open mic nights, a VERY reasonable variety of 'non-coffee' beverages - on Draught, bottle or can, a variety of comfortable seating, some basic dining options with any manner of takeaways welcomed, clean restrooms... need I go on? And they have great coffee! Excellent place to chill with friends.”

Beans not exactly to my liking, neither the method of serving tea, but for most people they would probably be OK. Excellent service by a happy, cheerful and well organized waitress. “Lovely staff. The coffee is lovely and very quick. No plastic cutlery, all recyclable wood. If the benches outside are wet they will cheerfully provide a dry sheet of cardboard or a plastic bag to sit on. Sausages cooked to order for your dog. They like dogs!”

The owners are great and made us feel very welcome. The decor inside is stunning and the food is fresh and really tasty. My little kids even got lollies at the end. The party was run by three members of staff who were extremely professional and made sure the children were all having a fabulous time.
