“Went here for Christmas lunch. I had Pate to start and the Christmas Burger for main. It was spot on and the staff were very welcoming. Pub has a lovely feel to it and I would certainly return. Many thanks guys”

“I've been to this pub a few years ago & found it to be a nice pub with a good carvery. I went there a couple of weeks ago & found it friendly, updated & the new owners trying so hard to make it work. Food lovely and staff helpful. I find some of the recent reviews picky & a little bit OTT? Not sure what their agenda is but I'll definitely be back tokeep a new business going!”

“Really enjoy this place the food is brilliant and the venue itself is really nice, plenty of seating areas, nice decor. I visit here regularly for either the PubQuiz night (Weds 8pm) or for family occasions. The staff are amazing, very accommodating and always make you feel welcome and comfortable.”

“Pleasant visit on Saturday afternoon, excellent customer service displayed by the guy who was cleaning the plates and washing up, he spotted my boy having a melt down and offered him a small toblerone to calm him down. Not only was this emotionally intelligent and empathetic this natural token of kindness demonstrated excellent customer experience. I will now visit Costa more when I have the chance over other coffee shops. This man is a credit to your organisation. He wa smashing the pots and tidying up with a smile however he did so much more for your brand today.”

“(Oct 2022 update) Since last review new landlord now in situ. All change under the new team! Certainly more or additional televisions showing football when I called in. This is still a great local pub in Cheadle village. A great range of Hyde's beers at a very reasonable prices. Well worth trying to see the changes & sample some excellent beer.”

“Came to the shakedown in Cheadle and wasn’t let down. Burgers were incredible, Cajun fries with spicy Mayo were amazing and the milkshakes seem to last forever and taste really good. Best fast food joint I’ve ever been to I could not recommend more.”

“Great pub this. We only called in for an hour and stayed all night. Nice to see really good entertainment on. The Committee band really worked hard and played all the dance floor hits. The girl singer was amazing and they seemed to be on all night. Let us know when next they are on and we’ll be there. The staff were very polite and really got into the music. Great vibe. “Was a nice visit with my 4 year old daughter for a little coffee date. They made her a lovely little hot chocolate with cream and they made it ready to drink temperature so she didn't burn her mouth. The place was clean and setup covid safe with good social distance measures and sanitiser etc. The only thing is the prices of coffee but that was already known but not bad for a treat.”

I look forward to going there every weekend, they not only told us about the meal deals for the week, but also told us about the discounted dessert value meal, anyone who placed an order with us inquired about our allergies, which was a first-time for us. extremely skilled, we would certainly return because both the food and the beer were excellent.”

“Excellent quality food and excellent service. This was our third stay at Premier Inn hearld Green Manchester. The beefeater restaurant has an great choice of dishes on the menu,we had the meal deal which includes two courses plus a alcoholic drink plus unlimited breakfast. The quality of food is excellent and staff are excellent hard working and polite. Thank you to all the staff but a special mention to Nicole you have such a lovely friendly personality and always smiling and hard working. Look forward to seeing you again in March.”

“We had our Xmas Night out at the Griffin this December. What an amazing team Tracey and her staff are. From start to finish everything was fabulous.
