“I went in for fags and buckfast. The fine wee lass on the counter didn't ask for i.d... coz im proper old now!! I was hoping for a brown bag to wrap my bucky in. But instead got ripped off for a 5p bag. 5 bastard pence. No wonder homelessness is on the rise. On a positive note ive drank all the bucky and im going back for another bottle!!!”

“It is a small supermarket where you can find Brazilian products and other products that might be difficult to find anywhere else. This place is good not only for Brazilians, but also for anyone interested in cooking, because it offers more specific things then in normal supermarkets.”

“Nice little store squeezing lots of lovely bits and pieces in, also has a fresh bakery. Was a bit useless in the veggie/vegan front prior to Christmas but it's got loads of new items now, so as long as it's a permanent change and not just for January, I'll be going more often from now on. It's always clean and tidy with staff working hard. There's been a few occasions where I've had queries or needed assistance and the staff have been extremely helpful and approachable. I'm still missing my Little Waitrose, but happy to have found somewhere else nice to shop (eventually). It's a pleasant shopping experience; would prefer more manned checkouts though, can't abide self-service tills.”

“Hands down the one of the best Sainsbury's in Manchester. There's a large variety of foods and products here. They've even got a good selection of vegan foods, halal food and kosher food. The special offers and sales are great for people looking for a bargain or cheap groceries. The only down side I've seen to this Sainsburys, and the reason I have it 4 out of 5 stars is because of the untidy and dirty till and checkout areas. They've got boxes and receipts lying around all over the floor which I took pictures of for reference. Other than that, this Superstore petty much has it all.”

“Handy shop. It's always open; like when you need something you've forgotten at the supermarket. Sells fresh fruit & veg, alcohol, store cupboard essentials, sweets and crisps. A huge advantage is the fact that you can have your Amazon orders sent here via Click & Collect. I've used this service lots of times and never had a problem. No more waiting for deliveries and the long opening hours take the guess work out of receiving your order. Amazon email you when the item is available to collect. Staff have a.lways been friendly and helpful.”

“Got served a hot choc with marshmallows & cream. And a caramel cappuccino. OMG awesome, couldn't fault it. Also ordered 2 nutella waffles with ice cream. What an absolute delight. Got served by the lady manager. A beautiful host and credit to the company. A very good location, overlooking The Lowry Theatre. Far better then Costa downstairs.”

“This is a fairly typical Sainsbury's local store... So a meaningful review is difficult. The choice has everything that you would expect, the staff were busy but not in the way. They had everything stocked and everything we needed was available. Location is good and it is a new store the everything is clean and in good condition.”

“Most helpful staff I have ever seen! I bought a sweater and forgot to remove the security tag. Went there next time but didn’t have the receipt, for verification security guard named KENNEDY OKAFOR checked the previous dated webcam clip when I bought it and helped me to get the tag removed. Went out of the box to help me and really saved a lot of my time. Really appreciate it. Amazing service.”
