“I've been twice in the last 2 weeks for Friday lunch driving from Salford. It's worth the drive (50min)round trip. Great food with plenty of choice and lovely people working there.”
Walnut Persian Restaurant
“I come here all the time and it’s absolutely unreal. Everything I’ve had is brilliant. The 2 aubergine dishes are some of the most delicious things I’ve ever eaten… The potato salad is great… The quality of their grilled meats is amazing and the bread is delicious. A must visit!”
Jafra Restaurant مطعم جفرا
“We visited Jafra last week after walking past it several times. Menu is easy with many options. We had the 5-item Mezze which came with warm bread. This was amazing as a starter and we kept this as a side whilst having mains. For main, we had the Mixed Grill- nice and tender meat. We also tried Manakeesh which is a Palestinian bakery item. We haven't tried anything similar before, taste was a bit overpowering but it was a new experience nevertheless. The atmosphere inside was great, expect local Palestinian music. Service was great start to finish. Food didn't take long to arrive. I would highly recommend Jafra, and I'd go back again.”
Baity Palestinian Kitchen
“This place was recommended to me by my client as I was over from ireland on work. First time ever having Palestinian food. The restaurant was clean and inviting. I was welcomed warmly by the waitresses and the lady took time to explain the dishes to me and recommend one. The food was absolutely heavenly I have never tasted flavours like that which complimented each other so well. The humous was silky smooth with subtle hints of spice and garlic through it. The bread it was served with was warm which was an excellent touch to the dish. I ordered the Chicken dish and it was succulent tender and the meat fell off the bone. I cannot recommend this place highly enough or explain the flavours in a way that will do it justice you have to try it to understand”
Manchester Fresh Shawarma
“Some of the best Shawarma if eaten, period, and very reasonably priced at that, costing now £3.50 for a chicken shawarma wrap. Best thing for me is the freshly cooked bread with every wrap! - makes it! Thought this place had closed down until recently, but it just moved from the the tiny adjacent shop to next door. Glad to know the Manchester staple is back. Great friendly service also. Highly recommend!”
Jaffa Restaurant
“Good and fast service, friendly members of staff, plenty of seating available, a wide range of menu items to choose from. It does get busy, was recommend by a few friends to go and try this place and their fatayer, which was decent. Highly recommend this place for people to try out, there is some near by street parking.”
SADAF

Al Jazeera Restaurant
“Thank you so much for your food delivery yesterday, the food was great and very delicious as always. Worth the money and most importantly my family enjoyed it. Much appreciated. Keep up the hard great work and the quality level.”
Yara Restaurant
“I’ve recently moved to Cheadle and I’m trying to navigate its many options for a goody night out. Many from the area recommend Yara. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype. The evening was a happy occasion, with visiting family from Yorkshire, and the staff & food made it a wonderful evening. Just enough attention was given to us by the staff, who left us to enjoy our food. Which was all wonderful; the hummus dip starter might have been the best hummus I’ve ever had; creamy and rich and to die for. The option to bring your own booze was also a welcome addition, helping to lead to a very reasonable final bill.”
Aladdin Restaurant | Est. 1988
“Very nice food and very clean and welcoming with a lovely traditional atmosphere and the staff are kind and have great customer service, I would definitely recommend.”

Yara Restaurant
“I was having a meal at the Alderley Edge restaurant on Sunday Nov.7th which was my family treat to celebrate my 80th birthday on Tuesday Nov.9th. I have never felt so important, the staff were really attentive , the food was delicious and to top it off Irfan ( I think that was his name) dimmed the lights, played "happy birthday " music and brought me a delicious portion of Honey and Almond cake, enough for the four of us with a candle on it , courtesy of the management. What a lovely gesture! Top Class !!”
Al Safa Takeaway
“The quality has gone a little down as the chicken was too dry and somewhat different taste too. Not sure the spices have changed. The Kobeda was like always bang on. The prices have been raised and assuming that everything else has also done the same.”

Afghan Cuisine Restaurant & Takeaway
“Yesterday I went there for eating dinner, for eating my first meal in Manchester after a long trip, I ate my middle eastern food, it was good and tasty food, but their spoons and forks were plastic I hate it, and one another thing they use a type of spicy and put in every food, I don't like it, taste like Indian foods, however, have a clean place with respectful staff.”

Slemani Restaurant Manchester
“Simply the best place in Manchester for a kebab (or mixed grill) and naan. 10/10. The food is delicious. Free soup (with nice spices) and truly unlimited Kurdish tea. The service is exquisite. The restaurant is busy, spacious and they really look after you when it comes to going above and beyond, e.g. birthday celebrations etc. Great facilities. A diamond in the rough. There is another Kurdish restaurant on this street that needs to take lessons from Slemani. The other restaurant took 1 hour+ for service, indeed the service was non-existent. The soup was cold at the other restaurant. The tea didn't arrive. Facilities were dated. The whole experience was sub-optimal.”
Baghdad Restaurant
“The food is so good here with authentic flavours and is my favourite place to eat on the mile! The people are also so accommodating and warm and the bread is gorgeous. Strongly recommend this place always!”
007lounge&restarant
“Outstanding customer service is what warrants the five stars for this restaurant. And a big five star for manager, Having you on the team makes a huge difference! Would definitely recommend a visit. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️”
Arabian Nites
“Visited for the experience and a change of scenery. The energy good in there. Initially we were seated upstairs which was disappointing but before I got the opportunity to ask was given the option by a worker which was great. The dance off really was a sight to see. Highlight - The one white boy that schooled all the brown folk with his moves.”
