“We had a great time today (11th Feb 2023) for my daughter's 6th Birthday. The children liked the play centre, the quads, and the food. It was clean, busy but not crowded. I liked that there was an area reserved for parents as well as the party room. The party was well-managed and the host was informative. We also hired Funky Faces Manchester face painter, who was excellent, and it was good of the venue to let us do that. They were good with getting health and safety information such as ingredients and allergens of the cake we brought, and insurance details of the face painter. Everyone had a lovely time and we would definitely recommend it. Thank you!”

“I Celebrated my 50th Birthday Party here 30th April 2022. This place was Amazing. It had everything you needed for my event. The main hall was a great size for the amount of people that came. There is also another room which came in handy. Kitchen was spot on. very clean indeed. As food was to be served. Fridge, oven, microwave, was available. Toilets were were fresh and tidy. Firswood Community Centre I will give 10 out of 10 for Service. Sharon who runs the place, is so friendly and pleasant. I will definitely be booking here again. A lot of my guest have already booked in dates for future events. Everything you needed was catered for here. Other Venues hourly rate were twice the price, and not as good a service here. I didn’t have one complaint all night about anything to do with this centre. My birthday was a success, all thanks to Firswood Community Centre. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Who said you can't have fun and stay safe? Namco Bowling made it happen! We had a great time with family. We booked 2 lanes side by side and played against one another. The place felt safe, clean and in line with the gov. guidelines.”

The experience I had was amazing the staff are very welcoming, down to earth and know how to have a good laugh with the customers, especially those who are regulars (like myself). “Went to Coast to Coast in the Trafford Centre for lunch on a busy Saturday. We mentioned to our host, Alex, that my son had a dairy allergy. Alex took the time to go through the menu with my son, explaining what he could and couldn't eat, and also was able to suggest items that were dairy free. Normally, people just hand you the allergy menu. We were very impressed with Alex's friendliness, professionalism and attention to detail. Thank you Alex, for making this a memorable meal. Not my son's food pictured, but everything was delicious.”

“Good place to take your kids to use up some energy. Staff were friendly. Seemed to be plenty of choice on the menu. Glad when we went it wasn't busy. Can imagine peak times it would be madness in there. Not that the zip line was open, but personally I think I should be included in the cost along with the trampolines. Definitely recommend.”

“Enjoyable day with 9 and 5 year old children. Enough to keep them entertained for over 3 hours. Short queues, friendly and helpful staff. They particularly enjoyed VR ride, this was an extra £5 per person. Would recommend to others.”

“My daughter has been at this nursery since she was seven months. It has been exactly the right setting for her. A home from home with consistent staff who know the children well. Particularly impressed with the real world play and the way they employ new initiatives to keep the children engaged. Wholeheartedly recommend.”

“Both of my children attended Kenwood Road Nursery until we moved out of the area. My oldest started nursery when he was around 19 months old and as he had been at home with me, I was looking for a small nursery with a homely feel and that is exactly what Kenwood was able to offer. We saw a big change in him after a month being in nursery. Confidence and language development soared as you could tell he was happy in his new environment. The older and younger children socialise together at various points in the day and I think this helped prepare my son for being around his new sister when she arrived. The nursery was fabulous at getting him ready for being an older sibling and dealing with that change. The staff at Kenwood are fantastic at what they do and if I had any questions relating to my children they would be only too happy to help. I felt like parents and the staff work together as a team to care for the children.”

“I was concerned that it was more of a kids attractions but it wasn't. You can see a lot of different species that were rescued, you can snorkel with sharks paying a bit more and you can also touch starfish and cleaner fishes that remove dead skin from your hand ( this is a free option!) Overall nice experience. Really loved it”

“Our son who is in reception has been going to breakfast club, after school club & holiday club at school of play in Urmston since last September and we simply love it! We know from the moment he goes in until the moment we pick him up in the evening that he is in excellent care and that any messages with the teachers would also be communicated should there be a need. The team is exceptional, they always go the extra mile to make sure our son starts his day in a positive mind set with amazing greetings, understanding his feelings and providing encouragement to make him have loads of fun every day. We don't know how we would do without school of play to be honest!”

“A lovely hotel that we visit often as it just 5 minutes from the Trafford Centre. Trams leave every 12 minutes into Manchester City Centre. The food next door at the Coach House Brewers fayre is lovely and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Plenty of car parking right outside the hotel”

“Great little place with some goats, hares, chickens, doves, rabbits and squirrels and all other wildlife. Even some wild parrots in the park sometimes. Volunteers work hard to keep this place going.”
