Bolton School
● Open“My son has attended Bolton School from the age of 5 and has just finished his A levels. He has lots of opportunities throughout his school life . Although his main extra curricular activities have revolved around sport where he has represented the school at football, cricket, water polo and hockey he has also been stretched into the arts having the opportunity to act, and play the trumpet in concerts. Discipline is strong in the school but I have found it fair. Academically he has progressed and has turned into a well rounded individual. Thank you Bolton School.”

The Sixth Form Bolton
● Open“I wish I could rate this college more than 5 stars as it certainly deserves it. When I first started there, I was shy and insecure regarding my abilities, but with the support of the amazing teachers and the excellent facilities, I saw myself transform into a confident and educated individual. I completed my two years of studies there and I wish I could go back, the experience was more than satisfactory. I would recommend this college to absolutely anybody and cannot stress enough how lucky I feel to have attended this college.”

The staff are very friendly and encouraging towards both parents and children. The support has been commendable for both myself and my both of my children. Good varied channels of communication. The environment is bright and stimulating, extremely safe and of a high standard. My children were always happy to go into nursery and built good close relationships with the staff. St Peter's C.E. Primary School
● OpenAlexandra Street, Farnworth, Bolton BL4 9JT, United Kingdom“Excellent school, rated "Outstanding" by OFSTED. If you don't want to take the word of the OFSTED inspectors, ask a parent of a young person that attends the school. The school motto is "Learn, Sparkle, and Shine", and it really comes across in the way the staff interact with both the children and their parents. There seems to be an energy and enthusiasm for both learning and the encouraging every child to maximise their potential. This is a church school with links to the nearby Farnworth St. John's (Church of England); however, the children are encouraged to understand and explore faiths of all varieties. The school offers a wide variety of extra activities after school, such as art, chess, computing, dance, and various sports. There is also a "breakfast club" which allows parents to drop-off children at 8am for a small charge. The staff encourage children to take on additional responsibilities, such as joining the school council, keeping the school tidy, or promoting technology within their class. A wide variety of visits (outside the school) take place each year, both far educational purposes and to enable the children to participate in the wider community. Sports day is a fitting climax to the school year, and the extra effort put in by the staff ensures that all the children (and parents) are kept busy as the class groups rotate through the multiple events taking place at the same time. This is a large (two-form-entry) school that recently extended their buildings, but does not loose any of the personal touch thanks to the dedicated head-teacher and her hard working staff team.”

Spindle Point Primary School
● Open“Had two move two of my children from another school in Kearsley as it was doing nothing but holding them back. My children have now been at Spindle point for just over a year and I have nothing but sheer admiration of the staff here. They have done nothing but help my children and this has shown in there work as they have come on in leaps and bounds. I have one child with disabilities who was discrimated against due to this at his previous school, but Spindle Point have been so understanding of his needs and have done nothing but encourage and help him in every way shape and form.”
