Somerset Animal Shelter, also known as the Somerset Humane Society Animal Shelter, is a 501(c)3 no-kill shelter located in Skowhegan, Maine. Our mission is to promote respect, responsibility, and compassion for all animals through education, advocacy, and leadership. We provide temporary housing and care for stray and abandoned animals, as well as rehabilitate injured pets and find suitable homes for those that are not reclaimed. We rely on private donors to fund our programs and services, as we do not receive federal tax money or have affiliations with other humane organizations.
