The student-run restaurant operates from January to April, serving lunch to about 150 people each day. The program also offers ServSafe food safety training and certification classes. Additionally, the Green Ladle students and community volunteers participate in events such as the annual Dempsey Challenge. Graduates of the program have gone on to achieve success in the culinary industry, such as Chef Rachel Lagloahec and Chef Zachary Pratt. The program has been life-changing for many students, providing education and support for young adults pursuing a career in the culinary arts.
