"Need a spot for the night to park has all kind of truck parking the lady inside was very friendly and it does have a lot of pot holes and the very pricey on beer .but it is just a mom and pop store got to help out the locals in the areas I run."
"If I hadn't needed gasoline! Wrote a review about this place a few years back.. I cringed once I pulled off the interstate... With the sounds of banjo music strumming in my head from the movie "Deliverance " and thoughts of texas chainsaw massacre ambience..... The pop filledriden drive was still not fixed. Like I said, if I had not needed gas, I would not have stopped! Running on fumes, but when I walked in the convince store, because the pumps were so old that u had to pay at register, thank God it wasn't raining, hardly a lean to that covered your one option gas pump! Beth, was working, very friendly, once again the paid staff was the only good experience. Thanks for the laughs and the beer!"
"Other folks gripe about the parking lot this general store and gas station are on, but I knew pulling in this would probably be the best stop of the whole trip and I wasn't wrong! We had been on the road half of the day already; we and the truck were running on fumes, but when I walked in, I was greeted like I'd been stopping here for years. All of the food is made in house and I can tell you for sure the boudin balls (and corn dogs) are AMAZING. 10/10 would definitely stop here again, thanks!"
"Plotted this place on my overnight trip for gas. No other gas for miles before and after. Pulled in and the place is full of potholes. Their only non-diesel pump doesn't take card. Store was closed. I'm out of gas on the freeway between nowhere & nowhere else in the middle of the night now. If this is some kind of secret trucker paradise, please keep it secret. This should not be in Maps as a gas station, it's not a reliable stop for travelers. I wish I had the time to come back to this place in the daytime and express myself in person."
