The Diabetes Management Center, located at 8120 West Main Street in Houma, Louisiana, is dedicated to helping individuals manage their diabetes and reduce the risk of complications. Our certified educators have over 60 years of experience and work closely with patients to provide the knowledge and skills necessary for successful diabetes control. Whether you are newly diagnosed or have been living with diabetes for years, our goal is to help you achieve optimal control of your blood sugar. Our Diabetes Self-Management Education Program has been recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education since 1997, making us the first facility of its kind in the Tri-Parish area. In addition to diabetes self-management training, our dietitian offers a variety of services to meet the community's dietary needs in an outpatient setting.
