“I recently had a full head of highlights with Helen. At the consultation she took time to make sure she fully understood what I was looking for and was careful to manage my expectations, clearly explaining the challenges of achieving the outcome I was hoping for. She also explained her method of working and the approximate time I would take to complete. On the day of the appointment she was extremely thorough and didn’t rush the process at all, her primary concern was getting the closest result to what I was looking for whilst maintaining the quality and health of my hair. I’m absolutely delighted with the colour and the overall appearance, the highlights are finely done (no big chunks of colour!) and she perfectly placed them around my face as I wear my hair up a lot. As well as a being an excellent colourist Helen is such a gorgeous woman to spend a few hours chatting with, she kept me supplied with peppermint tea and gave me such a relaxing head massage! It was an extremely positive experience and I can’t recommend Helen highly enough.”

“The staff are excellent at what they do. They are a super friendly team and offer an excellent barbering service. They are also great with children, especially Daban. Initially in Twickenham/Fulwell and now in Richmond, my 10 year old has been seeing Daban since he was 5 and will not go anywhere else. Finding a barber who is good with children, engages them fully was a task and my youngster will not go anywhere else. The service Daban and his team offer is excellent, a clean and friendly environment, the team listen to what the customer wants and importantly deliver. In an area where there is an abundance of barbers and hairdressing salons, Magic Scissors stands out amongst the crowd. Their prices also are more than competitive. I have no hesitation in recommending Magic Scissors.”

“I had consultations at a couple of Harley St. hair clinics, but I wasn’t filled with confidence - both felt like I was getting a hard sell rather than an attentive and informative consulation. I tried the Treatment Rooms and was immediately at ease that Dr Vara, who did my initial consultation, would be the person carrying-out the procedure. He answered all and any questions I had and was completely honest about the potential results. On the day, the procedure was actually incredibly relaxing and enjoyable. Dr Vara, Dr Fernando and their entire team were incredibly friendly, great fun, highly knowledgeable and consummate professionals - my comfort was their highest concern and nothing was too much trouble. The procedure was literally pain-free. Even the initial aneasthetic injections were barely noticeable due to their novel distraction technique. I’m now a few days into my recovery - there’s still no discomfort at all and the results are looking great. Their aftercare has been comprehensive with full instructions on what I need to do and I know I’m able to contact Dr Vara personally should I have any questions or concerns at all. I had been considering a transplant for a couple of years, but within minutes of meeting Dr Vara any hesitation disappeared and I’m so pleased I went ahead. I can’t wait to see the final results! The Treatment Rooms exceeded my expectations in every respect and I really couldn’t recommend them highly enough. Absolute legends!”

She knows exactly what I'm after, and being with her for so long, knows how to make my hair work for me. She's great at recommending alterations to my colour, treatments and perfectly accommodates any changes I want to my cut and blow-dry's. Really looks after me well when I'm there - knows I always love a tea, especially during my earlier appointments! Great service and stylist - would always recommend her. “I booked into see Georgina at FIFTY on the recommendation of my friend Emma. I needed a trim, then a tie up, then a BIG CUT in order to send a hair donation to The Little Princess Trust. The trust make wigs for children and young adults who loose their hair when going through cancer treatment. After the donation chop (a pony tail of 36 cms) I then had a restyle. Georgina did THE MOST AMAZING JOB! we nattered away throughout and she put me totally at ease. I LOVE my new style and would like to share how wonderful Georgina is. She will be forever more my hairdresser, thank you so much Georgina.”
