Everyman Esher
“Date night with my husband and was very surprised. Never had a cinema experience like it. Had drinks before we went in and ordered food. Staff delivered it to my lovely sofa. Loved the burger. Meat was obviously high quality. Also loved sharing the cookies with some ice cream....a must. Staff all cared that you enjoyed your experience and sets them above the completion on front. Many thanks Esher”
Côte Esher
“Yet another delicious meal at Cotes, Esher. Atmosphere is always welcoming, staff are extremely friendly and professional. The place is always clean, service excellent and good value for money.”
Georgie's Coffee House & Wine Bar
“Georgie's is great from the lovely coffees and cakes to the scrumptious lunches. Friendly atmosphere and caring people. Can't wait til we can sit indoors ( won't be long now). Highly recommend this lovely place.”
The Bear Pub, Esher
“Cute pub, with a nice ambiance. We went for lunch but it looks like the kind of place I’d like to go for dinner or Sunday roast, fire pits and a mix of informal and formal seating. Friendly staff as well. Youngs pub, so consistent. I’d recommend.”
Pounding Heart Cocktail Bar & Pan Asian Kitchen
“Had a great night with the family for my daughter’s birthday. Great quality asian fusion food, very fresh tasting curries and good cocktails! It was also to party and dance there after your meal with the resident DJ. Thanks to all the team at Pounding Heart for looking after us.”
Zeitoun Claygate
“The restaurant is amazing. The food is specific & finger-licking good. The staff is extremely well prepared and friendly- ready to answer any question or offer amazing recommendations. The beautifully balanced music acompanies the superbly designed place, creating an ambience you don't want to leave - especially after such satisfying meals.”
Brightwater Brewery Platform 3
“Love this place. Great atmosphere, lovely people and fabulous beer..... very worth a visit !!”
Hummings
“Went here for brunch and the food and drinks were delicious. I had the avocado on sourdough and bubbleology cocktail, which I really enjoyed. The theming of the cocktails was fun and I liked the variety of choices they had. The service was great and the staff were really lovely, would definitely recommend!”
Don Luis
“My husband and I had dinner here last night, and we were very pleasantly surprised. There was a menu stacked with options, and normally this is a cause for concern because you can't get that many things right. Except that they did. We tried two of their specials: the prawn croquetas and the goat's cheese filled courgette flowers, which were both brilliant and absolutely moreish. We also gad a delicious runny tortilla, pan con tomato, chipirones, lamb pinchos and berenjenas from the main menu. It felt like being in Spain. The recipies were authentic, and you can tell that the chef does not skimp on ingredients. The service was warm and friendly and quite professional. It did not feel like they had only been open for a few weeks. They had a reasonable wine menu which worked with the food. Definitely our new local date night spot!”
Rasoy
“Simply the best Indian food in this area of Surrey - and we've tried most of them I think. Now we just stick with Rasoy, visiting probably once per week for two years now. We've taken friends and family, and never once been let down. Freshly made, delicious food, always spot on, always looked after.”
The Hare and Hounds
“We had a really lovely experience here after some very hit and misses (more commonly misses) in the surrounding area while staying here for a week. The lady that served us was French and brought with her that air of hospitality as a career rather than a job that continental Europeans have that makes for really nice service. Efficient, polite and warm but unobtrusive. We hadn’t booked but were seated easily although it was a fairly busy Thursday night. Lots of outdoor and indoor seating available and a kids play park. I was so so happy to see the menu. A few carefully curated items rather than a huge menu (which I always avoid where possible as you just know it’s either done badly or isn’t fresh). I was surprised to notice that despite the appealing choices on the menu, literally everyone around us seemed to be eating burgers or fish and chips! Each to their own I suppose but I had the confit duck, my husband the lamb cutlets and his father the mussels. We all thought our food was incredibly tasty and were so happy we went on and had puddings which were also yummy. We would definitely be regulars if we lived in the area highly recommend!”
Marney's Village Inn
“We came for a family meal with my mother in law. The food was lovely and a comfortable little dining area. We will be back in the warmer weather to enjoy the garden.”
Bombay Social
“Amazing Indian food tonight after meeting the brilliant Bitzu (who works there) outside. He invited me in and had an amazing meal at the bar. The barman Tuzo supplied the drinks, great barman, much in his element. A sphere full place to eat out. Much recommended.”
Marquis of Granby
“Went there the other night for some drinks and ended up having fish & chips a few hours later and my partner had a mixed grill. Fish was cooked to perfection and chips were top notch. Great portion size too. All the meat on the mixed grill was spot on. Both really happy and exceeded expectations. Asked for the chefs name and it was Henry I believe. Well done to him and the rest of the team. Will come again 100%”
Prince of Wales
“We visited today, we asked for a table out of the way as we’ve two large dogs who love to take up space. Anna was very accommodating and gave us a great table, she’s a very friendly host. Suki served us and was very friendly and helpful, all the staff were lovely. The pub is very dog friendly, the have beds, a water station and treats for them. The food was lovely. Will definitely come back again - thank you team!”
