Bargain Wines
“Great collection of wine from France, Italy, Australia and America. Good customer service with personalise touch of Mr Kumar. Reasonable prices and central location in Money Hill parade”
The Shish Meze Bar - Rickmansworth
“The food was amazing and fresh. The service was great. There was ten adults and at least ten children so you can imagine how loud our group was. The staff dealt with us professionally courteously and they were great with the kids. The portions were a good size and we had so much left over. The taste of the fresh food was on point. Will definitely recommend and return in the near future.”
Masala Bowl Rickmansworth
“Really enjoyed lunch today, great tasting authentic street food. Great Dabeli which I’m pleased is now local. Would not call this a curry house, if you looking for tasty Indian food then check it out. Finally, great tasting chai! Edited 17/2/23- I’ve visited and order from here many times since my original review, the food is always great, however, the time I wait in the restaurant and delivery have always been too long, if eating with the kids I avoid visiting and ordering, as the wait is too much for the kids. Have waited upto 40mins in restaurant and even collecting orders waited over 20mins when I have called in advance.”
Funky Elephant
“Funky Elephant catered for our wedding. Ayesha was a joy to be around, really patient and flexible dealing with our requirements. The food was amazing - so many guests came to tell us so. Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!! ”
Anchor, Tap & Bottle
“Great service and excellent Malbec. We didn't try the significant collection of gins but will do in future . Smiling and friendly staff. Local clients which have a sense of community..dogs allowed and welcome. I will be back !”
Prime Steak & Grill
“Excellent quality of steaks we were three of us and I ordered the Rib Eye which was like butter. All accompaniment dishes like the stem broccoli with French beans and Mac and cheese with a Caesar salad went down very well. Also the house red wine was superb choice. Would definitely come again as the manager was very approachable and a pleasantly joking gentleman.”
Maurizio's
“Great pizza, great pasta and love the calamari. Service is always pleasant and your treated more like family than just a customer. The owner and head chef even comes out to make sure you’ve enjoyed everything and food is up to satisfaction. Highly recommend if in the area. Oh and don’t forget to try the tiramisu”
The Plough
“Great to have the pubs open again. Lovely beer garden and a good selection of drinks! Friendly landlady and great atmosphere!”
The White Horse
“Went here last night with 3 friends for food and drinks. First time I had been there - great atmosphere and super food! Have already booked again !! Looking forward to going to one of the music nights there too.”
The Fox & Hounds
“Owner always greet you and friendly, quiet enviroment during day and busy at night. Thai food served here as Joy of Thai restaurant. Good Thai foods and reasonably cheap with portion you can share if you are not that hungry. Lunch served at noon at bar area and evening at top floor separated with bar which busy every evening. During COVID the area set a giant tippy in the garden.”
The Boot
“Delicious dirty burger has it all...loaded with bacon, Stilton, mushrooms, tomatoes, lettuce, gherkin, onion rings, hunk of juicy meat, freshly made slaw and fat chips. Great service and beers! This place was a wonderful find, to sit in the autumnal sun.”
The Land Of Liberty, Peace & Plenty
“No music. No TV. Just really good quality beer (not from the big boys) kept immaculately and atmosphere by the pound”
Halfway House
“Nice friendly staff, lovely beer garden and good thai food. Perfect ambience eating surrounded by the sound of bird song and water”
Chorleywood Club
“Lovely place, nice staff and the prices are excellent.”
Rasal Restaurant
“I have been there about 5 times over the years. My last visit exceeded my expectations. Prevoulsy I had found the food to be well cooked but slightly underwhelming (read: bland). On sunday I had one of the best curries that I have eaten in years. Other members of our party made similar comments. I am looking forward to my return visit.”
Madhu’s at The Grove
“Me and my husband tried the 4 courses tasting menu and loved it. The food is incredible and the venue at the Grove hotel is gorgeous. It was such a romantic dinner. George the waiter was excellent and very knowledgeable on the food on the menu.”
Harvester Croxley Green Watford
“Good restaurant with very kind waiters. Food was cooked properly to my liking and was tasty. We also had a cocktail which was mixed well and decorated nicely. Good experience with reasonable prices, would recommend.”
