“Went for Sunday roast and it was very nice. I had the lettuce bacon and avocado salad as a main and there was plenty of it, it was delicious and I’d come back just for this salad. My other half had the chicken roast and he said it was really good. We also had all the side dishes to the roast: also very good! I recommend the Douro if you like a rich red wine, very good value. The staff was really good too, especially as it was very busy as we came in at 4.30pm. They deserve the 5 stars as far as I’m concerned.”

“Jamie has been absolutely incredible today and yesterday! He helped me repack some items which were really important for me to send to my family. He never once complained and nothing was too much to ask! Then today I accidentally made an error on one of my parcels and he quickly was able to help and rectify it for me. He was not difficult about it - he did it for me straight away. I have never come across such a positive and helpful person and despite it being so busy at the post office he still went above and beyond to ensure I was happy! I will definitely be going there again and I would be more than happy to travel the 20 minute drive for such an amazing service!!!! Thank you Jamie! It’s much appreciated for all you’ve done.”

“Stopped at this eatery whilst in the area and was pleasantly delighted to find some good quality Italian food. There was 6 of us and all of us were happy with our choices of antipasti and main. Calamari, garlic pizza, baked mushrooms as starters and fettuccine alle vongole, carbonara, risotto and linguine alla siciliana for main. Will be back.”

“We were heading down south from London and just wanted a quick pub lunch, so we popped by the Spring Tavern. It was excellent! Lovely pub, fantastic food and absolutely spectacular service - particularly from Maria! We will definitely be planning our routes through Surrey to take us back to Spring Tavern next time we're heading down south. Highly recommended for anything from a romantic countryside lunch to a family outing!”

“Had a Sunday roast today for the first time at the Queen Adelaide and I must say it was one of the nicest roast we have had! Followed it with the rhubarb tart ) actually called something else!) and that too was beautiful! Massive compliments to the chefs! Will def be one of our families regular places to eat ( we have had other options on the menu and have all been great)”

“I organised a 40th birthday party for my husband at Masons Bar for last night. We had a fantastic evening, all of our guests really enjoyed themselves and the music was spot on, it definitely got everyone in the party spirit! Terri was fab to deal with on the lead up to the party and her and the team were just as fab on the night, very friendly and welcoming they really do create a lovely atmosphere in the bar. Would highly recommend Masons if you are looking for a party venue.”

“Our First Visit here. Came here as it was the only place with availability for the 'Eat out to help out'. Further then I normally travel, but worth the time. You are greeted by a very friendly gentleman, who took my car reg for the parking. He showed us to our table and explained how it all works (covid 19 rules). Our drinks order was taken quickly and enough time was given for us to choose our meals. When they came the look great. See photos. The food was really good, if I was to be critical, they toast the children's burger bun. This makes it too hard for children the really bite into. My mixed grill was very nice, again if I would to be critical, I asked for a medium steak, I felt it was more medium rare. This is just me, this may be how some people do 'medium' take a look at the photo below and see for your self. Otherwise the chicken was very moist the eggs runny and the sausages juicy. A lovely meal with very friendly staff. Social distancing measures in place and clean. Will be back in the future.”

“A Lovely meal. We had the 12oz fillet steak & it was served piping hot & cooked to perfection. We also had the BBQ chicken & ribs upgrading to the full rack. We were offered skinny fries or chunky triple cookies chips and we both chose the latter. We added a side of chunky slaw & beer battered onion rings. All the food was very good. After this we were full so didn't order pudding so will have to return. Our server Emma was very helpful and is a real asset to this Beefeater. We'll done Emma & all the staff at the Tattenham corner Beefeater. We will definitely return.”
