“This is more like a smart cafe than a formal restaurant with a family friendly ambience. When we were here, there were plenty of people with children around (Saturday 530pm). We got a max platter, which was always going to be more food than we needed for two adults and two children but would be perfect for four adults. The meats were excellent and we went for rice instead of chips which was good as an extra. Definitely very good value for money and the quality of the food is as good as many of the more upmarket Turkish restaurants in nearby areas.”

“My local Italian restaurant, the food is always spot on, can't fault it, always tasty and nice portions. Can walk in, but I suggest at busier times it better to book. Never been let down here, the good is consistently good. I always dine in, so can't comment on the takeaway. Plenty of free parking at the Sainsbury just behind, a few minutes walk. Awesome”

Struggled to work out what we wanted for dinner take out tonight as fridge I'd empty ahead for weekly supermarket delivery tomorrow and my partner said I would kebab style meal so I said mentioned a place in Edgware but I couldn't get the spelling right for the delivery app and remember you have recently refurbished and opened again so I said how about here and Wow, the chicken/lamb shish kebabs with rice and a little bit of salad was more than enough. Salad wasn't finished and unfortunately we can't touch our 2 pizza sized portions of bread. Definitely order again either take out or dine in. Delivery was on time too. Fab work, Mill Hill Kitchen.”

“One of the nicest cafe in London. Located just at the borders of Edware Road and Maida Vale. Above the canal. Giving you the impression you have travelled to Venice. Beautiful view of the canal from the bridge, where its located. Great selection of oven baked Pizzas, or English Breakfast. Coffees, teas. Per person is about £15-£20, but worth every penny of it. Regardless how often we have been to this place, we always come back. Staff always friendly and with a smile. See you soon”

“Amazing restaurant with kenyan specialities like Mishkaki, kachumbari, ugali, sukuma wiki and a lot more! You can also buy halua, achari, mabuyu and some other non food items from kenya. Food was delicious as was the passion juice. The desert surprise was absolutely amazing! All in all, a great place and we will be back!”

“A very vibrant place. I was there on a Saturday evening. They offered me a bigger table as it was quite crowded, with the agreement that I will leave in an hour or so, agreeable given the time I had visited. Even through the crowd the people kept checking in if everything was okay and if I needed anything. Chicken 65 (Saucy) was really good. Although the Chicken Tikka was a bit different from my expectations, but it was good. Personally for me it did not suit. Good music, excellent staff and very good service. “Huge portion size and great value for money. Food came out very quick. We had the nasi goreng which had a nice spice kick but was not spicy. We had allergens and they accommodated, no problems. Only issue is that the menu is on the counter so you can't walk past it and see if you fancy the food or not; you actually have to approach the counter and stare down at the menu to see all the options, which is not easy as menu is huge, probably has most options compared to the other establishments in Bang Bang. Would definitely come back again though as food was delicious.”

“We went in at off-peak hour and was seated quickly. Menu stated “to inform the staff if I have food allergy” which I did for gluten because I was concerned to be served pita or bread. However the staff members were confused when I mentioned gluten. Then I pointed on the menu the part which says to inform them of any food allergy, they thought it was a dish that I was pointing to. I didn’t want to pursue as I had company, so I chose conservatively, hummus with chicken sharwama and spicy salad. My company had the sharwama set. And we both had fresh carrot juice. Food was served quickly and tasted amazing, I enjoyed the meal thoroughly and will return. Carrot juice is real and fresh, absolutely great meal. If you have no food allergies then this is a great place to visit!”
