“My local shop. Lovely staff. Always helpful and friendly. Lots of different foods on offer and they also have a take-out as you enter where you can get hot snacks, coffees, bacon sarnies or rolls. They also have freshly baked croissants and baguettes and breads as well as Danish pastries. They sell wines and spirits too and always have special offers. The ATM at the back of the store is free. They don't have trolleys, only baskets. Was my local shop but I have now moved to Dorset.”

“We went to the store yesterday to buy a tank and various essentials/accessories to prepare for my daughters first small pet fish. They had a great variety of products including lots of well-known character ornaments to put into the tank. The staff in aquatics were very helpful and ensured we got everything set up correctly for the fish we planned to buy the following day. Very informative and friendly. Today we took our daughter to choose the fish. The staff member, Matt, served us and he was amazing with my 5 year old daughter. He went out of his way to choose specific fish for her so she could tell the difference between them and was so welcoming and helpful. Thank you so much for making my daughters day! Went back a week later to get more fish and two shrimp. This time served by another gentleman with brown hair. He was really helpful and amazing at his job. Very informative about every aspect of the shrimp and fish. Thank you again for your help!”

“Popped in for a quick lunch on a freezing Friday. Only one member of staff behind the bar and ferrying food, but she did a brilliant job and was extremely friendly. Food was surprisingly good and while not 'cheap', I think it was worth it. Not busy for a Friday lunch, which is a little worrying. I hope to visit again soon.”

“The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was closed but the chef overheard that we were 'starving' and she kindly offered to prepare whatever we wanted. The food was great! They have lovely outdoor seating which is well spaced out to maintain social distancing.”

“Pleasantly surprised by this hidden little cafe inside King George Recreation Ground. Food was surprisingly good quality. Cooked breakfast is big and delicious, scrambled eggs come with salad and pitta bread. Coffee was good. It's spacious inside with lots of heavy wooden table and chairs. Also dog friendly. Recommended!”

“The best fish and chips in Watford. It's a shame the rating system only allows me to go to 5 because this is easily a 6 star restaurant. Delivery time within 30 minutes. Not only do I think both the fish and chips are divine, but they are consistently delicious every time I order. No other restaurant has ever been this consistent. There are a lot of fish and chip restaurants, but this is the one you should be ordering from. Many thanks, will order again soon.”

On top of that, they actually sell energy drinks, flavoured water, snacks, haribos, pringles, oreos, Pukka Teas etc... it is not only a pharmacy, it is also a corner shop too, it is just wow, Abell Team and the pharmacy are truly built different and unique! Now you know I'm coming to this pharmacy to collect my prescription medication and also stop by every time for energy drink or even a breakfast bar from to go alongside my morning coffee on my way to work.”

“I found the staff to be quite friendly. I needed some lottery tickets and a last minute cake. I asked them if the carrot cake I picked was nice and the young lovely lady said it was. She was genuinely saying so too, and was proved right when we ate it, really nice.”
