“My wife and I regularly come here and have got to know the managment and staff. The atmosphere is welcoming the staff are professional and the food is delicious. The chefs know their craft and it shows. A good restraunt for gluten Free diets as they have an entire menu dedicated to it. Special mention to the manager Aleksandra who always makes us feel welcome when we visit.”

“From the second you walk in until the second you leave you feel like you are home away from home. The staff who are mainly volunteers I might add are all lovely and friendly and the manageress (RACHAEL) is an absolute breath of fresh air, always has a smile on her face and always willing to try and make your stay as good an experience as she and her team possibly can. There isn't a massive selection of food , but what they do have is beautifully cooked and made and presented in a very clean and professional manner . All the food is freshly prepared and the coffee is awesome. The decor of the Cafe is very cosy and comfortable and also very bright and airey which allows you to just relax . The seating is of a very high standard and the Cafe is also situated next to a park so you can make a day or afternoon of it if you have children etc etc. I can't recommend this place enough, and I'm in there most days lol. “3 of us turned up at 6.30 sat evening expecting not yet to be very busy and already nearly full. Good sign. Very much enjoyed our meals; all the usual fayre on offer and was all very good quality. The Complimentary glass of House Red was most welcome too! Staff very attentive and the wait for food a very reasonable 20 minutes. Could not eat all we had ordered and they happily put rest in take away containers for us to take home. All in all a very good experience”

“We booked a meal for 40 of us after getting married in Leatherhead earlier that day. We could not have had a better time or service from the team at the Penny Black - the communication with the manager ahead of time was helpful and quick, we were able to drop cakes and decorations etc off in the morning and the pre-ordered drinks were ready for our arrival. The team on that day were friendly and available for whatever we needed. HUGE thank you to the kitchen team who managed to get out 40 pre-ordered meals at the same time and all hot. This is not just your average pub - 5* 10/10 recommendation. The manager on shift that day said they didn't really do bigger groups or weddings that often but if you are reading this and looking to book a party or bigger group event in Leatherhead - Penny Black is where you need to go.”

“£2.39 for a pint of Calrlsburg... Dec 22... same thing in central London would be roughly 6 quid... if you want a decent pint at a very reasonable price, Weatherspoons have got to be a top three option”
