“Just a few words to say thanks to Dr Murgai and all the team at Skin and Smiles post my treatment for a dental implant. Firstly I would like to echo the reviews from those who have reservations regarding dental treatment. As someone who is anxious with dental care I can say that my treatment was first class. I was completely put at ease by their care, communication and professionalism. In my case the treatment was complex, including an extraction, yet was carried out without causing me any discomfort or worry and I am extremely pleased with the quality of the work Dr Murgai has undertaken. Their surgery is modern and well equipped while the interior is well lit and comfortable. It really does put you at ease from the start. It is also within easy walking distance of Watford tube station. I thoroughly recommend this practice and would have no hesitation in returning in future should I require similar treatment.”

“Went today for a tooth extraction. Very anxious at the beginning but the two dental surgeons were fabulous! Talked me through everything. The procedure its self was very quick and painless! Tooth was out within 20 seconds after local anaesthetic. Such a great job. Thank you. Highly recommend.”

“This was my first visit to KD Beauty clinic, Watford. “Ania” did my hairstyling and I’m super happy with the results. She took out time to understand the kind of haircut I was expecting. She is super friendly. In the middle of my haircut I asked her to shorten my hair a bit more, which she patiently did even after my appointment time was about to over. I’m so thankful to her and would definitely recommend her and the salon. Cheers!”

“Our daughter (now in year 8) has been at Edge Grove since year 6 having spent all her previous schooling in the French system. We joined the school at a time when the new headmaster, Me Evans, was still putting in place his vision, but we felt that he knew exactly what he was wanting to do, and we completely bought into that vision. We have not been disappointed. The pastoral care has been first rate, particularly helping our daughter in the transition to a British Independent school. From what we have seen, any pastoral issues are dealt with speedily and sensitively. Great emphasis is put on politeness and creating the right environment for learning, whilst enjoying everything that the school has to offer. The education curriculum is innovative, supportive and stretching, and the school is doing a fantastic job of supporting all year 8 pupils in preparation for CE, truly differentiating based on the schools they are applying to and the exams they will be taking. Extra-curriculum activities are great too - the Director of Music is fantastic and the improvement in the quality of all school music activities has been marked, while the head of girls' games is really raising the bar too. Staff go beyond what one might expect and respond rapidly and helpfully to any questions or concerns. The parent community is friendly and welcoming. The school certainly deserves its recent rating of Excellent in all regards from the Independent Schools Inspection. I highly recommend the school to any prospective parent.”

“Smart and spacious layout this is only about 100 metres from Carpenders Park station and parking is available directly outside and in the carpark on the opposite side of Station Approach. We phoned but couldn't get through. Shortly afterwards they phoned back. Placed order for collection. Adequate waiting area for collection. Staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was excellent, well cooked good ingredients and not greasy. The King prawn Jalfrezi and fish Buna are highly recommended. Will definitely be visiting again, we will try sit down.”

“Got a cappuccino for take away on a absolutely freezing old morning and it was really warming and tasty. Kept my hands warm too. Service was fast as they weren’t very busy as it was very early morning. Staff were smiling and friendly, nice and talkative as well which makes you feel a bit more comfortable Cappuccino tasted very nice and smooth. The standard Costa coffee taste that I’ve come to know and love. Will be returning again.”

Plenty varieties of foods like Brazilian Cuisine, Italian Cuisine, Indian Cuisine, Chinese Cuisine, Thai Cuisineanf many more. Their drinks are paid separately though. It is also good for birthday dinner or any other celebrations.”

Store manager was also very helpful with an issue I had with one of my Boss jackets which I purchased and was very happy to help and sort out the issue. Very happy that finally there is a store that is close by instead of going to London and looking forward to the next purchase.”
